On cue after 3 straight losses. smh All I can say is that’s how baseball goes sometimes. I’ll still take my Astros against anybody. Win, lose, or draw, I’ll still take them. Cleveland has a good hitting club. They went down and hit good pitches, which is not on the pitcher. Quote

I would hate to live in negativity like some obviously do. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted Thursday at 11:49 PM Report Posted Thursday at 11:49 PM Source: The Astros are calling up No. 1 prospect Brice Matthews to join the team Friday, MLB. com has learned. Matthews is slashing .283/.400/.476 with 10 homers, 39 RBIs and 25 steals at Triple-A, while playing mostly 2B. Matthews was set to play in Futures Game. Quote
spidersal Posted yesterday at 01:56 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:56 AM AggiesAreWe, obviously you struggle reading people’s posts The post started with how the Astros were playing good baseball and how the 3 mentioned players were good on defense The statements that were also true was that Brown and Hader had their worst performances of the season. The Astros vs Cleveland did not hit well at all with runners on base. The final truth was that the 3 players mentioned are struggling big time at the plate These are observations about the Cleveland series, nothing more and nothing less For some unknown reason you want to act like everything is negative with my post. The fact is, you are not going to score many runs when you struggle at the plate with runners in scoring position Quote

Then you make your presence known. You only come around when you have opportunity to be negative therefore why you make a post after a three game losing streak and not when they were winning 28 of 38 games and playing the best in the MLB the last month. I posted a while back that you wouldn't be heard from until Houston had a 3-4 game losing streak and well, here you are. rupert3 1 Quote
rupert3 Posted yesterday at 02:20 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:20 AM Yanks beat Mariners 5-4 in 10 so we still 7 up Quote
spidersal Posted yesterday at 03:10 AM Report Posted yesterday at 03:10 AM Really no negativity in my post, simply the reason they struggled vs Cleveland Most people already know that Brown and Hader have been pitching very well The main part of my post is that you can’t score many runs when you are not hitting with people in scoring position Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted yesterday at 02:18 PM Report Posted yesterday at 02:18 PM The Astros have played 93 games and have had 88 different lineups. They still haven't used a single lineup more than twice. Quote

Just shows that Houston has a good farm system and made some good deals. Houston has dealt with more injuries to every day players and starting pitchers than any other team in MLB. rupert3 1 Quote

He was a heck of QB for the Eagles when he played… I saw on the grid iron… never on the diamond until I watched last nights game on tv. Great to see a hometown kid play the home team. Quote
rupert3 Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago I keep hoping McCullers would come around but sadly I don't think so. Just too long not playing I believe. But that's baseball. Actually it is better than I could do or have done lol Quote
