Mariners lost to Diamondbacks so we back to 3 up

Astros with a bad home loss to the White Sox. 4-2

Astro pitching gave up only 4 hits but had 8 walks. McCullers had 4 BB's.

Mariners lost big time again to Diamondbacks so we still 3 up.

Sad thing is the  WS played 6 rookies and are the 2nd worst team in MLB. Had a real chance for a comeback in the 8th, bases loaded with no outs, but fell short.

I will be at Friday’s game vs. the Twins. Can’t be sure, but I think I will get to see Brown on the mound. Win or lose, I will enjoy the trip.

Peña stealing 3rd…..3rd baseman has to jump over Peña to field the ball thrown by the catcher. That’s pure speed.

Astros are in first in the AL west (by 4 games) while Ronel Blanco, JP France, Zach Dezenzo, Luis Garcia, Yordan Alvarez, Christian Javier, Chas McCormick, Spencer Arrighetti, and Hayden Wesneski are all on the injured list!

That’s 8 key players on the IL.

Astros last several years have had that next man up mentality.

I hope I am right in imagining what it would be like with them healthy.  Or can we do it consistantly without them.

Valdez 12K 4-3 win not a gem but still wins in close one with Hader giving up HR on the 9th.  4 1/2 up 8 over 500

Paredes may be hurt

Nice 10-3 win over twins.  All 3 runs for Twins were dingers.  5 up and 9 over 500.

Well, I had a wonderful time. Astros explode early and pitch well enough to win. Peña is unbelievable. If Paredes had been in there, I know he would have smacked one. Great win. Keep it going.

I even applauded Correa because I liked him when he was an Astro. Lots of people booed him. I can’t be that way.
