Serious question about schedules on max preps

So I noticed in some of the schedules on Max preps that teams leave off difficult opponents. For example, neither Silsbee or Jasper had their game this past Tuesday on their schedule. I've seen this on many other "programs". My question is this, what is the benefit of this for them? I'm trying to understand because Max Preps rankings and other things associated are so poorly managed, I'm just wondering why one would leave it off.

Just don't go by it... They left the game between Coldspring and Jasper off this season and personally I've never known them to always upload a full season for a team especially during basketball season.  Sometimes they do over the course of the season put you have to keep looking back and forth until they do or if you have an account then I know you can report the score yourself.

Whoever is the admin for that particular school, someone on the coaching staff, has the ability to upload the correct schedule and/or make modifications on the go.
