Ha! Didn’t work out too horrible last year.

Yeah. I just don’t see it (hosting) unless the field itself is ready and fans aren’t allowed yet. I could see the field itself being ready. Or, they could set up bleachers at the new auxiliary field I guess. I don’t think there’s a completion bonus big enough to push through a schedule of less than 12 months. Just getting the materials/scheduling space in the laydown yard is pushing it in that timeframe. For the cost involved, I don’t see the admin pushing schedule over quality control. LPISD is generally a pretty good steward of funds/deliverables.

Silsbee held an off season play day this past Saturday. Teams participating were Silsbee, PN-G, Vidor, Buna, Orangefield, Rayne, La. and Jennings, La.  Silsbee went 4-0 defeating Orangefield, Rayne. La., Jennings. La. and Vidor. Silsbee beat Orangefield 58-36, Vidor 70-53, Rayne 82-50 and Jennings 86-48. Orangefield went 0-3, losing to Silsbee, Jennings and PN-G.  Vidor went 2-1, losing to Silsbee, beating PN-G and Rayne. PN-G went 2-1, losing to Vidor, beating Buna and Orangefield. Buna went 0-3, losing to PN-G. Jennings and Rayne.

They might as well play all games on the road!!! Lol
