MrFleet23You seem reasonable. What are you doing being a Crosby poster? LOL

I never count anyone out. Like I said in the other thread, Lake Travis lost to a 4th seed last year. That's why you play the game, instead of just surrendering to a THRASHING like it was suggested.

Why do you keep saying that? Round Rock won their district and LT would’ve gotten blown out had they played Westlake last year in the district play. That wasn’t surprising Round Rock beat them.

More bad injuries for Huntsville tonight.Wide receiver left in ambulance in the 1st quarter, looked like an air cast applied.# 10 Lb Simmons left in 2nd quarter with a leg or ankle injury and did not return.# 74 offensive lineman left in 3rd quarter with a bad limp.Don't know the wide receivers #,wish him and the other hurt Hornets well.King completely outclassed the Hornets. No running game, but Wilson kept chunking the pigskin.King rotating the defensive linemen kept Huntsville at bay.DB's # 3 and #0 for King had great Games.

Huntsville needs to take King off the schedule. King is a legit 6A now with 6A size and talent. They won’t be seeing anything like that in 5A football.

Pretty sure the WR broke an ankle or lower leg.  Definitely something was going the wrong way.  Not sure about Simmons.  Hornets moved him to D-Line and they can not afford to lose him as he is the best on that side. Starting RB also has missed the last two games, so running game is not much.  Injuries making things tough for the Hornets right now.

    • What the writer stated wrt crossover votes in the primary/runoff: "Covey and his supporters Paxton and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said Phelan only won because Democrats crossed over to vote in the Republican Primary for him. Paxton said Covey’s campaign identified “at least” 1,442 Democrats who voted early in Jefferson County in the primary runoff. Texas does not have party registration, but a voter’s primary voting history is public. The Covey campaign has not released its methodology behind its claim, but  This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up  by The Texan news website found that 9% of Republican voters in the March District 21 primary had voted in one of the previous four Democratic primaries. However, only 5% of that group had voted in all four previous Democratic primaries. What Phelan’s opponents did not mention is historically Democratic Jefferson County is undergoing a political transition towards the Republican party — the county judge switched his affiliation to the GOP in 2017 — so many residents have a mixed primary voting history. And Phelan’s allies in the House dismissed the idea that liberals swung the election. "I knocked on doors, hundreds and hundreds of doors, made calls for Dade,” Republican Rep. Jeff Leach, R-Plano, said on Mark Davis’ radio program Wednesday. “I did not speak to a single Democrat down here in HD21. Not a single one." "
