Back to the drawing board. Past 2 seasons the playoff bracket maneuvering to get into a more favorable position has backfired.

2019 Strake Jesuit 63-35.....2020 Clear Falls 53-36.....Reload that capable offense and fix the defense...jmo

Brooks DC is just young, He knows the game but is still learning. He'll get better.

But again this is why i hate the whole play down to get in a better position. Just play the game!! just because it worked for you in 2018 doesn't mean you'll always get that lucky. Instead of using the games to get better playoff position, use the games to get better. Never coached like that or was a fan of it.

Yes,  It wasn't COACHING that got them there.I been told yal not to CROWN PEEVEY.As long as Wb let's the parents coach. They are going to be Wb.GET a new coach that's wants to win and not worry about being friends with the parents..That's your answer to other players on the team that are better players but they sitting on the bench

It’s funny that you said that.  With the issues WB had in defense this year, I’ve heard from a few WB people that some good defensive players were on the bench for whatever reason...

Coming from a guy who has two posts.

Where was your praise for last weeks game?

I can assure you he and his coaching staff wants to win each and every week. There were definitely holes in the game plan and the kids just didn't execute on key plays. You can't have multiple turnovers and lose the ball on fourth down several times and win a ball game.

Fortunately for the brook they are returning a ton of starters and with COVID out of the way next year and barring any impact from hurricane season I think you'll see a greatly improved group.

I certainly have no clue on the ins and outs of the WB football program, but I can’t help but agree with this guy. Multiple turnovers will get you beat every time, regardless of who the coach is. It always seems that no matter what happened in the game, the losing teams’ coach is ALWAYS to blame; never ceases to amaze me.

If I'm correct....he may have only 2 post now but he went thru this for 3 years with his own son who was a major factor on getting them to State in 2018.....

This Coach had many players on offense that he could have used in that game. The first games he played this year. Why would you do that and not let them play both ways in the championship. That's where you put everything on the line. COACH

I will admit those kids were talented. I knew they would drop off because of graduations and BISD's "new zoning" rules. I'm not a big WB fan. You can have all the talent in the world and not know what to do with it. He is better than the last coach. They deserve the credit as well as the blame.

Before the new zoning rules, a lot of Brook's talent was zoned to go to Central and Ozen. That's a big reason why the Bruins were so dominant in the 2000s and 2010s.
