Grad! What the heck happened to the standings and the schedules?

The standings and schedules are still here, we have just moved them around a little bit.  Hopefully with a little less scrolling!

Previously, the standings and schedules were in different topics.  Not only that, we had every freaking set of standings in one topic and the same for the schedules topic.  Great if you are a West Brook fan.  Not so great if you follow Anahuac.

And we heard those complaints and endeavored to do something about it.  First, the actual actually standings and schedules have been moved to the football subforum "2020 STANDINGS, SCHEDULES AND SCORES." That link is right here:

https://www.setxsports.com/ip/index.php?/forum/136-2020-high-school-football-standings-schedules-and-scores/

Now, if you know the district that you want, you can just select the topic of the district you would like to see.  Say you are a West Orange-Stark Fan. Choose the topic "2020 11-4A-II STANDINGS, SCHEDULES AND SCORES"

and you will get current standings, schedules and scores of completed games.

BUT GRAD, I DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO LEAVE THE FOOTBALL SECTION TO GO TO A SUBFORUM!!!

No problem, we got you!  You'll see the thread pinned in this forum which is also titled "2020 SETX HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL STANDINGS, SCHEDULES AND SCORES"

Within the first post in this thread, are links to all of the threads in the 2020 SETX HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL STANDINGS, SCHEDULES AND SCORES topics in the subforum.  Say, you are an Anahuac fan, just go to this topic and click on the 10-3A-I STANDINGS, SCHEDULES AND SCORES.

And this will pop up:

And you get the same thing without ever leaving the forum!

BUT GRAD! YOU HAVE THOSE LINKS BY DISTRICT! I DON'T KNOW WHAT DISTRICT MY TEAM IS IN!

Again! We got you!  The second thread of the 2020 SETX HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL STANDINGS, SCHEDULES AND SCORES topic here in the football forum is a list of those districts and the schools that are in that district.  Take a gander at that second post, find your team and pop back up to the first, find your district and, POOF, you have your info!

Yes, yes, I could have included the names in the link to the thread, but then you are doing a lot of scrolling again and this whole exercise is to try and reduce that.

Well, give it a spin and see what you think!

    • What the writer stated wrt crossover votes in the primary/runoff: "Covey and his supporters Paxton and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said Phelan only won because Democrats crossed over to vote in the Republican Primary for him. Paxton said Covey’s campaign identified “at least” 1,442 Democrats who voted early in Jefferson County in the primary runoff. Texas does not have party registration, but a voter’s primary voting history is public. The Covey campaign has not released its methodology behind its claim, but  This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up  by The Texan news website found that 9% of Republican voters in the March District 21 primary had voted in one of the previous four Democratic primaries. However, only 5% of that group had voted in all four previous Democratic primaries. What Phelan’s opponents did not mention is historically Democratic Jefferson County is undergoing a political transition towards the Republican party — the county judge switched his affiliation to the GOP in 2017 — so many residents have a mixed primary voting history. And Phelan’s allies in the House dismissed the idea that liberals swung the election. "I knocked on doors, hundreds and hundreds of doors, made calls for Dade,” Republican Rep. Jeff Leach, R-Plano, said on Mark Davis’ radio program Wednesday. “I did not speak to a single Democrat down here in HD21. Not a single one." "
