yep i agree the  birds at bridge city are young BUT thay did  look good in spots agnest a bigger  LC-M team.the cards have alot of work in front of them but i do belive the coaching staff was pleased at what thay saw at this point.and will build on this and will get better as time goes bye. BC and WO-S are two teams that are very young going in to this season and both will take thire lumps this year  BUT watch out  down the road

Mt. Ent. is not a large 1A School. their enrollment is 129 compaired to Deweyvilles  237 and W.Sabines 170.  Mt. Ent. is picked by Tx . F. Magazine fifth in their district and they were 2/8 and 0/5 last year. hummmmm

Final

2 quarters

Cleveland 7 HF 6

controlled scrimmage

HF 2 Cleveland 0

I guess HF had a melt down in game simulation. Cleveland was not very good last year, how do they look this year? In years past they seemed to have decent size & speed.

Brenham @ Round Rock Westwood earlier today

Scores by session

7 on 7 (10 plays each)

Brenham 1 TD, Westwood 0

15 Plays Each Session

Brenham 2 TD'S, Westwood 1

10 Plays Each Session

Brenham 1 TD, Westwood 0

One 12 Minute Live Quarter

Score: Brenham 10, Westwood 0

Both teams got a lot of good work in today. Cub defense bent at times, but didn't break. Offense was clicking better than last week's first scrimmage. Only one week until the opener at Reliant against Nederland. Should be a great game to

open the season.
