Yeah that's the next game I am making the trip from Nola for. I want to see this Vidor offense as I have never seen it run before. And of course, I always look forward to seeing baby bro have to elevate his game against competition. Vidor will be the most physical game we play this year. Not to say teams like Memorial or Ned aren't physical. They can air it out and attack in multiple ways. Vidor is seeking to punch you in the mouth for the entire game. PN-G defense must be physical and maintain their gap assignments, or it could be tough. The good thing is our run D is our best defensive asset

Vidor will have a very tough time defending PAM.  Most of the complaints from Vidor fans on penalties, was the Vidor secondary grabbing on and holding for dear life on just about every pass play.  The

Must not be too good of a def when all vidor does is run,and they pounded the rock all night,how many rushing yards did the dogs give up against vidor?I know dogs have a salty def but they didn't stop the run,2,3,4yards a pop or what ever it was doesn't seam to me that they can stop the run,jmo,inform me better because i wasn't there and don't know.

I think they had around 275 rushing which is 175 below their season average. Most of it came in the first half or so it seemed.

Nederland did fine last Friday. One of our QB got hurt, and Lange came back in still injured from the Dayton game. Simmons did not play against Vidor either.

Just waiting on the UIL to decide. I hear PAISD is slow responding with all the PW needed by the UIL.

This is one of the top 5 teams Matthews has had at Vidor. If they stay healthy they will be a force to be reckoned with. It was one hell of a game last Friday.

I like PNG's chances to do just that. I hate predictions but I like to talk match ups.PNG's front seven is a very decent group. I think the Indians defense will match up pretty well on that front. I am not calling for a win or a loss. I think this is a good match up. I will watch tape this week of Vidor. PNG will have two keys this week on offense. Obviously Vidors run defense is pretty solid. How well have they done against a pretty darn mobile QB and how well have they done against the pass. This is what I will be looking for when I watch the tape. We have to focus on Baytown Lee and the trip over to Baytown this friday. Vidor will tell me this week a little more about what they can do against a decent running defense in Lumberton. I think Vidor is a good football team and am happy for it. I agree PBF. This is a matchup in our favor... That does not mean we win or lose, but its in our favor. Vidor plays to our strengths... Which is D-Line and Linebacker play. If they can line up and play smash mouth then they have a chance to win. I watched some film against Nederland. Our receivers should be fine if RJ gets enough protection. I also think he will get enough protection. I just think its a GREAT matchup for us... As you all know I never predict a PNG game. Hell. lately, i cant predict any game according to my pick ems... I just like the matchup... Period...
