Been watching K.J. since he was knee high. That kid is quick. Dang good player. Defense will be better than previous years for PN-G. Our Weak point will be the outside and with a quick team like WO-S that can kill us. I hope in regular season those corners are drawn up closer to the line and not 15 yards out. Roschon will be able to run more in regular season and should open up some stuff. Hughes is super fast and with Roschon as a running threat Hughes may get overlooked by the defense. Kenell at defensive end is an interesting move, but watching him manhandle players was intriguing. He's a big strong kid and fast. I think our o-line did fairly well with WO-S big guys in the middle. I was worried about that. Plus we had some starters out there. All in all having a team like WO-S scrimmage us will do nothing but good. Good luck to WO-S but I don't think you guys will need it, except maybe to stay healthy.

Frodo I was very pleased with what I saw and the WOS Mustangs was exactly what PNG needed. A team who is mid to late season form to push you in every facet of the game. I was happy with what I saw. Soph QB starting first game had some jitters and a couple of back ups starting on the O line. I like what I saw. Thanks again to the Stangs for giving us exactly what we needed. Always a first class organization to play. Good leadership gives you a good team across the board and thats exactly what WOS is.

looks like faircloth has put a lot of emphasis on the defense this year

My son is a junior and that class has had a good defense coming up. That all like to hit and do well with tackling fundamentals. Speed in the back field is what we lack. Hopefully we can compensate for some of that. Speaking of which, is Vaughan ok?

Still waiting on a certain png fan to give his highly qualified and omniscient point of view on last night. Or maybe he was out of town speaking as a guest lecturer at football coaching conventions.

Maybe Fairchief put a gag order on him or locked him back in the padded room, would've thought he'd chime in by now.
