Cougar14.2
I wonder if the games get moved back simply because of the travel distances? Small schools seem affected the most by the venue change. This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up
cowboysfan88
Well what about teams like around setx and the Houston area that had to travel to Dallas when the state finals are at Att stadium Mr. Buddy Garrity, WOSgrad and Morris_era
HeHateMe
To me this benefits the fans of high school football more than anything and they will be the ones who buys all the tickets and concessions. No matter how far or who your team is no distance is too far to watch them compete for a state championship.
Uncle Pig
Didn't Newton and WOS take yellow dogs to Arlington on the day of the game last year? That undoubtedly had an impact on the outcomes of those 2 games.

That undoubtedly had an impact on the outcomes of those 2 games.I remember that also. Terrible decision to do that, but at least in Newton's case, I remember it being a $ issue. I also believe that Newton played the early game on Friday, which necessitated them leaving before the rooster crowed.

Uncle Pig
Games will absolutely be back at AT&T next year. No knock on NRG and Houston, its a great stadium, but it just doesnt hold a candle to AT&T and how they host the games

Uncle Pig
Just saw there were 7,000 people at the LaVega Argyle game. At the Navasota Argyle game last year there were 20,000 fans there. That's a lot of money. Games will definitely be back at AT&T next year. Houston is just not very accessible for many towns across the state
AthleticSupporter - Jock
I'd think if he'd sold his soul to the devil, he could of got another super bowl in the last 20 years. Can you re-negotiate a deal with the devil? Mr. Buddy Garrity
