Bobcatfan4life
Orangefield Bobcats (6-4, 2-2) vs Kashmere Rams (7-3, 2-1) Thursday night at Galena Park. Cats have looked good the last 2 games having no problems with Liberty or Hamshire-Fannett. Need to keep the momentum going. skipper

kicker
Looks like I may make this game as my office is in Baytown. I haven't been able to see a Bobcat game this year.

dBerrySports
Went out to OF today, Smalley says that Kashmere is similar to Worthing but better (obviously since they beat them) but I think the Bobcats should be in good shape. mighymouse490
sorry, saw kashmere play lamarque. kashmere 42-orangefield 28....the qb has an ARM!!! he is very shifty!! he has 3 wr's that can catch. don't be intimidated by #2. he stands 6-4 or 6-6, but is not the main target. the bad thing for the rams is they hae NO DEFENSE...especially if you got a run game. keep the offense OFF the field and OF will pull it out, otherwise...bomb city!! yes they like to throw it deep! That's exactly what the slot T does. Long drives keep opponents offense on the bench and wears down their defense. Lots of hard running. kicker
If they rely on the long ball its going to be an OF win. Have to have an offense that will keep the Bobcats O off the field.
Team Game
Is Orangefield missing any players? I know some were out or got hurt in the HJ game. If they are healthy, I see them going a few rounds.
Guest
If they "Kashmere" throw bombs all night and catch them then OF won't pull it out! OF will have to stop the pass at least 50% of the drives which will put Kashmere in a bind. If they can limit their pass attack then OF will put them away easy! OF offense is strong but if they get down by 2 touchdowns they will be in for a tough night! The main weakness to the slot is having to play from behind! That's not what it's designed for! It is the death penalty for the Slot T. They need to play cover 3 and wish for the best because Kashmere receivers are tall! Gotta play jump ball with them! OF can do it just gotta limit the big plays on passes! Bobcat101
Cat22
For the most part, OF should be ok health wise with the exception of a couple of players lost for the season with injuries.

mighymouse490
Orangefield Bobcats! Kashmere struggles with the slot t! like i said, lamarque straight up lined up with NO wr's and ran draws and misdirections and was gaining 6-8 yards a carry. you will move the ball on them. problem is, can you slow the qb down?? he's not super fast, but quick. right when think you about to bring him down he throws and wr comes from nowhere and catches the pass lol. now, lamarque pass defense and secondary are very suspect, so it could have made them look better than they are. however, the 4 offensive weapons move the ball well. NO RUNNING GAME for the rams. they had a big kid (linebacker i think) who was big, but slower than an offensive lineman lol. stop #3 the qb. spy him with an athlete! That is what it is all about, we battle in district but in the end we support each other in the playoff's. Awesome is all I can say.
