4a div2 region3 top 4 teams have open weeks,coincidence or strategy,I think this is wos first time ever doing this

Prime example of the problem with a poll. Look at region 4 in 4A DII. 4th ranked Geronimo Navarro has 3 first place votes, and the 4th coach doesn't have them in the top ten. Somebody doesn't like that coach, school, or team. Something smells funny in that ranking.

When you are in an odd numbered team district (5, 7, 9) your bye week is during district play and is decided by the luck of the draw by the district committee. You have no say as to when your bye week is scheduled so there is no strategy involved. It's pure coincidence.
