ponderossa Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 Not many people here yet. Do people not realize this is district this game could be for a playoff spot Quote
Back2swag Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Playoffs are severely water down Quote
TXHORN_ET Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Might get ugly next week against corrigan. Quote
ponderossa Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 There is no spirit or excitement anymore at Hemphill. People showed up late to game wasn't many there not really cheering. the team seemed flat at start of game. It was like watching a Jv game. People and the team and Hemphill coaches failed to realize I guess this was important district game Quote
TXHORN_ET Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 I agree..was such a dead atmosphere. I didn't expect Hemphill to win, but I didn't think there would be a going through the motions like I saw last night. At least the band was still good. Quote

TXHORN_ET Posted October 12, 2014 Report Posted October 12, 2014 Of the teams Hemphill beat in non district play, I don't know what those schools overall record is up to this point. District play is a different story. Coming off a bye week they didn't look good at all. I sure wouldn't want to see having to face Corrigan, Crockett, and Newton in the weeks to come. For that matter, deweyville won't be an easy opponent. Quote
OleMoe Posted October 12, 2014 Report Posted October 12, 2014 The fans and hometown should start by expecting them to win. Attitude must be postive. In our small towns what is there other than our school sports. I know there is talent in those pineywoods just as there is in Burkville,Newton,Kirbyville, It has to be brought out. They must take pride in what they do.Now go kick Corrigans butt.. Quote
