I'll say this again, Lamar is in a terrible location(Southpark) and the campus life is terrible. If any kid went visit SFA or Lamar he's going to SFA without a doubt, I doubt any kid is choosing LU over SFA. Congrats to Randle on his commitment but a little advice for him bigcam if another FCS school offer's him Ex: SFA, SAM etc tell him please go to one of those schools.

I don't I just have many friends who played ball there and some who still play that allowed Woodard to sell them dreams but it turned out to be the worst decision they made.

I don't think anything he said here is incorrect and I argue with him all the time. These are kids. Objectively visit the example schools he discusses and tell me you are more impressed with LU's facilities. You can't. I didn't attend to any of those schools, but have visited all of them. And it ain't even close.

I don't know what the holdup is. With his size, speed, and toughness I would think he is just what we are looking for. Not even mentioning his dad was a legend there which should be at least a tiebreaker. But perhaps the strongest argument I could make is he comes from a good family, and is more interested in rolling heads on the field than joints off of it. And given what Charlie inherited, we no doubt need more kids like Padgett.

You have tunnel vision.  Every college has kids who accept scholarships to them and then has bad experiences and leaves with a bad taste in their mouth!!  You name the college and you will find lots of kids every year from every sport!!   You have a personal axe  to grind about Lamar and this is your forum to do it in!!  Good for you!!!
