Football Fan 4 Life Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 I hope we start out like we finished last week and finish very strong with no injuries tonight. I thought both the coaches and players made some great adjustments during last weeks scrimmage. Go Broncos 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BellBiz30 and Octfeb 2 Quote
bronco pride Posted August 22, 2014 Author Report Posted August 22, 2014 This is sad. Milby has 18 kids total on jv and no freshman squad. Quote

Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted August 23, 2014 Report Posted August 23, 2014 Hopefully no injuries occur, not sure if Milby will be a good practice for the Broncos. This is sad. Milby has 18 kids total on jv and no freshman squad. yikes Quote
BRONX ROX Posted August 23, 2014 Report Posted August 23, 2014 Yep jv made it ugly. Poor fellas. Startin rb 2 plays = td. Didn't hit another play. Lol Quote
bronco pride Posted August 23, 2014 Author Report Posted August 23, 2014 Milby had around 26 on varsity with a lot of their jv playing. They were really bad. I hope Milby gets a win this year but other than Davis I don't see how they could beat any 6a school. I thought other than penalties dayton looked pretty good. Guess next week football gets started. Octfeb Posted August 23, 2014 Report Posted August 23, 2014 Well I feel sorry for Milby. Their whole Varsity was on the field. Except maybe 8 kids on the sidelines. Quote

liltex Posted August 23, 2014 Report Posted August 23, 2014 Milby (dist 20-6a w/Hou Lamar,Bellaire,Westside ret 7/5 was way overmatched, had size, very little speed & looked absolutely awful for a school w/2,105 kids.Dayt played everybody, maybe even the waterboy.Milby never made 1 1st down.I never saw the complete starting units in that played a good bit vs FW.This scrimmage only benefitted the younger Dayt players. It wound up 35-0 w/running 2nd half clock.Hope we can find a team next year that can test everything we can throw at them.I didn't listen to my gut feeling(should have went to watch Crosby)I went to show my support for the purple/white.I hope the kids don't get the Big Head vs CV next week Quote
Savant19 Posted August 23, 2014 Report Posted August 23, 2014 Milbys 10-12 grade students have been relocated 7 miles away to the Jones campus for 2 years while their new school is built. The district buses them to school and back...not sure if they have late buses for after school programs. Those that dont have a ride back to their neighborhood due to the relocation after practice and late football games wont play. NDNation Posted August 23, 2014 Report Posted August 23, 2014 Seems like teams would be lined up to scrimmage Dayton...where did yall dig up a Milby? Quote

liltex Posted August 23, 2014 Report Posted August 23, 2014 It was stated on 99.9( party line)this am Dayt either had to have inter squad or except this scrimmage=staff took itTeams we played last year I guess don't want to play us.Livingston is 1 of them.UIL re-alignment even messed up our pre-season schedule w/Elkins not moving to 6a,staying in 5a(2-2 vs Elkins) Quote
