Which teams will possibly have a two headed monster at RB to each reach 1,000 yds?

Because you just said a 1000 and change yard returning rusher won't be the RB next year and that he might not even play football.

Ok, wait and see what happens. They have a RB on the way that is much faster, has power and is much more agile. SA has outstanding athletes that choose not play football in preference to basketball all the time.

So I guess he's just playing 7 on 7 to stay in shape for basketball eh.

7 on 7 means nothing. I did not say he was not playing football. I said it was a possibility. He will not be the primary RB though.

So he's gonna go from taking 98% of the meaningful snaps at RB to being replaced by I'm guessing your talking about a freshman? The JV/backup rb had a major case of fumbilitis. The 2 8th grade RBs are good and will have great careers before it's all said and done but they aren't on Jenkin's level yet.

That is what I am saying. Jenkins is a LB who played RB last year and TE for the two previous years. He played LB on varsity since he was a freshman. They will upgrade at RB as they were prior to last year. Young players tend to grow out of "fumbilitis" as they get older.

He is far from a tight end. He didn't play much offense at all until last year. He was and has been a running back the whole time though. It may have been more of a full back type role, but it was definitely a running back. He is just what SA needs at RB. Someone who can pound the ball between the tackles to compliment what Roberts does. He sits back there at 8 yards and gets a full head of steam and hits the whole hard and is tough to bring down. You key on him too much and Roberts will hurt you pulling it off the edge. You key on Roberts at QB and Jenkins will get 5-7 yards a pop everytime.

He was a TE and LB. Your information is incorrect. He was the starting TE as a fresman and then yielded to Alex Renfro as a sophmore. He was put on varsity to be a LB. He had to play RB last year because the main RB and perhaps best athlete encountered class room issues and was not able to be a part of the team.

Negative ghost rider. Mikey Harrison was the Tight End that year. Try again.

Mikey Harrison drilled with TEs but never played TE in a game. Harrison then moved to center his senior year. Jeremy was the starter and split some time with Renfro. FYI, I coached TEs and LBs at SA during this timeframe. They ran through my drills everyday. Do you want to discuss it some more?

I've got film that says otherwise on who you think was the TE. You coached there his sophomore year too? Or just his freshman year? Cuz last year Renfro played every snap at TE. Your memory is a bit wackerjawed. The backup TE was #3 Jarvis Giles.

Jeremy Jenkins started at TE 2011-2012. I think I stated that he yielded to Renfro in 2012-2013. Last year Jeremy played RB as a Jr. He played RB in the 8th grade also. Mikey Harrison never started at TE and may have not seen 10 snaps his entire career at TE. Jarvis Giles did not see meaningful snaps his entire career until his senior year at DT. Giles bounced on offense from RB, TE, G but was always a defensive specialist. Jenkins has always been a LB. That is why we put him on varsity as a freshman. My memory is fine.

Jarvis Giles at DT? You keep makin yourself look bad man. He played OLB/SS (depending on what you are calling the defense) his senior year, and was an all-district performer there. He came in when SA went unbalanced and double tight on offense. Just stop, you clearly aren't in the know in SA anymore as you think. Jenkins was running around having a blast tonight at SA's 7 on 7 league. Looked to me like he was still pretty interested in football and wouldn't "might not even play football."

We will see when the season starts. He will be a LB first pending the performance of the underclassman. SA loses good players to basketball all the time.

I never said they were brothers...I was stating that there was one McBride and one Chambers coming back!!

I see Dayton as a passing team....there MIGHT be 3 WRs with a 1000 yards but not rushing!!!

i agree. One of the best receiving cores top to bottom I have seen at dayton. Back on topic though when is the last time dayton has had a 1000 yd rusher. I know Cody had a ton of yards rushing in 08.

What was the big kids name for Dayton ( Lamar Mitchel ?) the one who had bad ankles cause that 's the only way the other team could tackle him was at the ankles other wise they would get steam-rolled .

yeah he was a bad boy. I know Michael Dugat had several 1000+ yard seasons but it's been a while since dayton has had any kind of running game.
