1. Ok, here its the big scoop:

Coach Stewart is coming out of retirement which means we get a bye to Area because Nederland refuses to play a team coached by Big Stew. Out of respect SC relinquishes its district title which means Vidor forfeits as well. In embarassment for the immediate tail tucking by Nederland they don't want to play SC and they get a bye as well. Therefore 19-4A is 2-0 already against 20-4A, thats if Ozen and Livingston stay in it. They may forfieit out of fear that Stewart might come watch one of their games because Dayton has a bye. If he does they know they'll be down 2 TD's before the game even starts, just because he's in the stadium. In that case its a clean sweep. 4-0 on to week 2 of the playoffs.

    There its out!

Barton will be missed loved watching him play good luck to him in the future. This Bronco team has enough depth, talent and chemistry to fill the gap and you can bet our coaching staff will have a great game plan its not like they haven't been down this road before. I hope little McBride #15 starts as RB I think he can keep the chains moving and keep SC offense on the side-lines. GO BRONCO'S -----

Barton had 21 tackles in the BH game.

Every team gets hotter by the end of the year, if any of theses last few teams go in to these last few games thinking they got this its going to be easy , then they are going to get a rude awakening. All you Bh fans thinking Bh don't have a chance to beat Sc were is your guys confidence at for your team, ya'll were so sure about Dayton ya'll should be talking the same smack now about your thursday game, your boys have a shot at this! 8)
I agree, Sucker Creek is beatable, just ask Magnolia West.
;D
So in a matter of a few months we've went from "not making the playoffs" to "beatable" :D
Ive never said anything like that, I knew you guys were going to be our biggest challenge. As a matter of fact we had that bet months ago about us meeting up for the district title! ;)
That was for bronco1, You and I have always been on the same page.
Well, ya'll did beat Crosby, Porter, Humble, etc... I used the word "beatable" to lull the huddled masses that are so afraid of SC out into the light. Trying to give BH fans some hope, the BH players already know they are gonna beat yall.
  4.
So you made a stupid comment about Elkins having a great defense but when I told you Dayton was the only team they stopped you say "the teams they lost to would kill Crosby". Huh? I can tell you Crosby killed BH so why couldn't you. . . . . oh yeah I forgot, their defense got salty.
I didn't say they had a great defense, I said they were the second best defense we played this year. Are you a politician? You even embelish other peoples statements, not just your own idiotic view. Look you can stat it up, talk it up, brag it up, what ever you want to call it. The fact remains that regardless of the outcome of BH vs SC or Dayton vs SC, Crosby is Dayton's doormat.

Note to Summer Creek fans: Now that Dayton needed a last second td on a busted play to beat the Eagles with a backup qb, BH has the saltiest defense Dayton has faced. I think you should tell Aaron Sharp that they held the high flying Dayton offense to 143 yards total and he should expect the same. They are going to play you tight with their qb out due to the fact they have improved immensely by playing Dayton close. You won't be able to throw on BH because Dayton only had 42 passing yards. If you beat BH by more than 20 it doesn't matter because you haven't been tested. It is exponentially harder to stop the dive play than the twins. Dayton allowed less than 100 rushing yards to Humble and Porter, the next two teams on Crosby's schedule but if you beat BH Dayton's defense is "really salty" even though the allowed more yards than the Eagles. Last but not least, Jerry Stewart is the "split's" homeboy. Feel free to tack on if I left something out. . . . . BH does get a playoff win this year though.
Truth is, that was the best defense we had seen all year next to Elkins and we didn't do very well against it. It will also be the best defense SC has seen to date, just refer to all those stats ya'll like to post. I'm not saying that SC doesn't have a good defense, but we haven't faced them yet.

SC will not score on BH or Dayton like they have on the other teams in this district.

As for as the above post, well what would you expect from somebody who probably never beat Dayton in football his whole HS career. If he did it was once and he got throttled every other time. I would understand why you don't care for Coach Stewart either, he owns Crosby.
That Elkins D must have gotten a lot worse than since they played Dayton. Their 4-4 right now and haven't stopped anybody except Dayton.
All 4 of Elkins losses by teams that would kill Crosby.
Your just still mad cause the Broncos stampeded your kitties and threw um under the bus. And we all know your Cougar14. And Crosby admins are mad cause the new high expectation defensive coach from Sulfur Springs who went with the head coach to state in 2008, did't do his job by beating the broncos, like he was suppose to. And we all know that your jealous, cause Crosby don't have a tradition like Dayton does. And that you really wanna wear purple.. but PNG told you NO, and Dayton wouldn't hear of it. And the only reason why your sucking up to BH is because your kitties beat them AGAIN! So you feel superior to them.. I am sure I left some things out so feel free to tack on whatever it is..
We got the offensive coordinator from Sulpher Springs, not the defensive coach. The new superintendent is an ex-college football player so he's always annoyed about losses. I also think Dayton fans are ignorant to think if Denny didn't get banged up BH wouldn't have scored more points on your "salty" defense. Port-Neches, Newton, and West Orange are the ones with the tradition July, you have the exact same amount of state championship appearances as Crosby. Going D2 and going to the third round all the time isn't an amazing accomplishment, Crosby is going to do it this year and we suck. I also hate purple, I just made my son throw away his Laker jersey. We beat Port-Neches last year by the way and Dayton sucks, that should about cover the violet thing.
I know its no big deal to Crosby but this will be Daytons 17th year in a row to make the playoffs. Crosby's only tradition is getting beat and beat bad by Dayton. Again, I understand your angst, you never beat Dayton as Cougar. All you ever did was suffer the humiliation of getting beat time and again by sucky old Dayton. Thus the strong dislike(hate) for the color purple.

Did you miss the skill part?
    I guess so...
    So we'll go here then!
Dayton won but they still suck!
    Then when they win again.
Which I'm sure they will because they got skillzzz and they are lucky.
    They will still freaking suck!
News flash if you missed it earlier.
    The Dayton phillies suck.
    That should about do it.
You sound like a Dayton fan, if the team that beat you sucks, where does that put BH as a team?

Now that you mention it I notice how every Dayton away game you're always "offering each other rides" is that a code for something?? I have yet to see any of you see if octfeb has a way to the game :o

  11. I hate to tell everyone but, Smoking Baby has given up, he has lost his edge. He was one of the best and most prolific smack talkers on SETXsports. Due to the man crush he has on SCdawgs and the rest of Summer Creek he can no longer give completely biased credit to BH only. The Hill has lost it's Champion. I hope he doesn't vanish into thin air like Tyrone did.

I hate to say it, but I miss you.  :'(

OK, after careful analysis, I say BH wins by 14.  SC just does not have the skill players to compete.  ;) ;)

SCDawgs I found a hat for you in Georgia.  I'll bring it to the game.

As long as I dont look like liltex sitting in the stands ;)
Also you are correct, the one thing we lack is skilled players. You also forgot to mention we have no speed. ;)
I figured after that movie came out, "White Men Can't Jump" we would just chalk it up as they are slow too........... ;D ;D ;D  By the way, Tell that Braden kid to come on over to BH, we will gladly welcom him in.  His Dad Anthony used to work for me a few years back......good people.

why is Barbie's Hill still in the poll? we have to discuss this.  ;)
I think they can beat every team ranked below them.
I think we can beat 2/3 the teams above us too.  I also think 1/2 the teams below Dayton can beat them.  So that puts us both somewhere between 4th and 6th in my book.

WOS probably beats us.  PAM probably beats us (I didn't say that).  Summer Creek WILL beat us.  Vidor and Nederland would probably take one of two games if we all played, could go either way.
I agree with you on everything but the SC win, SC has not played a decent defense all year. I give BH a chance because we don't know if the'll be able to recover from actually getting hit.
  14. I love stats, keep them every year. Some years they are great, some not so great. I remember comparing our stats to Lake Travis back in 2007, based on those stats I felt like we were state bound. Not the way it worked out, the key is match-ups, 22 young men on the field at a time and how well they do their job each and every play. Stats don't allow for the intangibles, the will to win. In the end, which ever round that is, that will determine who's best.
  15. You don't know what you don't know until you find out you didn't know it.

BH defense is better than you think, I'm not saying BH will win but, if you give them the turnovers that yall gave that Iron Curtain defense of Humbles yall might be in trouble. I know Humble didn't slow you down, yall just gave them the 2 fumbles and 2 interceptions. I guess yall gave them the safety too. Oh yeah that bigger faster defense of SC's gave the Wildcats 232 offensive yards and 12 firstdowns. BH managed to hold that offensive juggernaut to 84 yards and 5 firstdowns with their little, slow defense .

It's a dude and yeah sorry if some posts just kill you but in the end you know what's up. We want to beat everyone and makes us sick to lose. If we go down, it's going to be a fight. Ours kids work hard(not saying yours don't) but we are ready. O'Neal will get his yards. We just can't have those wide outs get crazy. You will not get over 100 yards rushing. I don't mind throwing out a bet either.
Sophomores are about to get hit. They won't like it and at the ant mound. Come get some!
The "sophmore" will get  100+ yards by himself, on less than ten touches. Oneal will get 51 + 21 =72yds max.
Just want to direct everyone's attention to my prediction back on page 26. I know, I know, no need to congratulate me, I just did that myself. Since the "Sophomore" got 95 yds in one return, I'm sure he got over 100 yards in less than 10 touches. I did miss the Oneal prediction by 1 yard.
