  6. A couple of questins for the BH fans...

    1. Why is BH (which is a future 4A) playing in a 2A tournament???

    2. Why didn't Hitchcock send my beerleague softball team an invitation?

i think we could compete in this tourney

with 33 views on this thread already i think i can quote all 33 people' date=' "Who is Abundent Life?"[/quote']

I'll try to answer your questions.

#1. I don't know what the logistics were and why BH choose this Tournament. Call BH and speak to the Athletic Dept.

#2. They probally don't know that your softball team exist, And why would you want to send a invite to guys playing a girls game.

Now a question for you. Why would you come on here and ask stupid questions? I'm on here giving updates like eveyone else for their school. Why don't you crawl back under yout trailer and sleep now

  7. Our district was lame at best. Shame that the huffman kids quit or our seniors to play baseball. Two of our best players quit and WE COULD HAVE MADE SOME NOISE. OH WELL.

Come on ETBU no need to slam the district becaus Huffman didn't make the tp three Gezzzz your starting to worr me

Congrats to the Trojans, I didn't see the game , but was exspecting a BH win tonight. BH never has been a B-ball school so winning district was big. Goodluck to the Trojans the rest of the way. On to baseball

  8. Sorry but I just had to reply so I could simultaneously negate both very sweeping generalizations with one post.

Barbers Hill is definitely one of the few elite local programs that holds up when comparing quality and success both recently and historically. If you look at records since 2000 you would see that BH has a higher winning percentage than WO-S and has won more games than WO-S. In fact' date=' they have the highest winning percentage of any team in SE Texas this decade and have won more games since 2000 than any other team in SE Texas except for Newton.

Conversely, if you look at historic records going back 100+ years you would see that Barbers Hill ranks in the top 3 among SE Texas teams in every one of the following categories (All-Time Wins, All-Time Winning Percentage, All-Time Playoff Wins, All-Time Playoff winning percentage, All-Time Playoff Appearances, State Championships, All-Time number of undefeated regular seasons and District Championships)

    WOS87

Proud Alumnus of WO-S Class of '87[/quote']

WOS87 I aplaude you :dru , One for not being a Biased poster and Two for producing information that I was not aware of. Some of the WOS posters just need to realize that everyone in the area knows WOS has a great program their is no need to preach it to everyone you see!!!

A WOS poster, Posting something positive about BH!!!! I'm shocked and Humbled........!!!!!!>>>>>>>>>>!!!!!!!!!!!>>>>>>>>

  9. 4 teams or 3 make no difference if nothing else like someone has said it makes the Div I teams play the same amount of games as the Div II teams. I would rather see one Champion and increase the amount of classifications like adding a 6A like Oklahoma did. I wasen't that inthused about adding the 3rd team either , but I think it was 2003 when 3rd place Bandera Won the Div II title. I guess you can argue it all different ways but the way to go is on champion per division that way there is no doubt who is actually the champ.

  10. Liberty will be the boss of this district untill another team steps it up. Splendora will also be a player at some point. The Splendora area is growing ,so they will have more talent to choose from as the years progress. Cleveland IMHO could dominate that district under the right coaching, but so far there has not been a coach that can contain all of that talent. Shepard was part of this district about 5 years ago and always hung out at the bottom of the standings, So If they have improved then they could play for a spot also. Overall this district is very week and should be dominated by the neihboring districts!! It all comes in waves as time moves on and if Jasper,Silsbee, WOS & BC (All once 4A) continue to loose numbers they will be the little guys one day.
