This is now a dead horse, but there was much denial about this. Check out this youtube video . @‌ 30 Sec mark hold on #52,  At the 40 - 45 second mark flagrant block in the back by #21 , how in the world did a Ref miss this call.  and then a hold on the DB. 1:33 second mark Hold on #58 . I can see how some of these could have been missed , but not the blocks in he back , of not one, but two players. Should have been no score on that play. I'm sure if we viewed the entire film , there would be more. Those Refs should be kicked down to youth football.

Not next year it wouldnt. And probably not the next or next. Ozen doesnt want to have anything to do with those Stangs. I guarantee you that.

I must admit after studying film on Celina I'm not nervous I rarely get that way. The only time being nervous this year was after studying film on RF. 

The young men on the WOS team are focused this year. We as fans, parents, and followers are the nervous ones. We WANT a SC not just for us but for them as well. Both teams have put in hard work to get to this point. I hope for a victory, wish for the best for both teams, and rejoice at WOS for getting back to this level again. Let get to the game and let it be decided on the field.
 

Yeah it was WOS that was ranked #4 when they played. I edited it.
Don't get me wrong, I support all SE Texas programs and wish the best for all of them but if you're gonna throw jabs at WOS it's infinitely easier to throw jabs right back.

Exactly what I saw on the film I watched, They will get some rushing yards with that big line. We will have to slow down #5 , he is big and quick.  Qb not near as fast as the kid from Cuero. Their LB's and DB's can't match the speed, we should be able to run wide and throw anywhere.

Celina looks big and physical. One thing I saw on the film from the Gilmer game was #5 was running the ball hard against Celinas defense. Not saying we have an oline that can move that dline from Celina but Shaw is a very physical runner, might be something to look for come Friday. With all the talk about WOS speed on the outside, I look for Celina to only put 6 in the box, might come down to how affective the WOS running game is (which struggled against Cuero).

Guess what they have all lost to better teams. I wish BISD had some schools that could give us a game, keep us from going to Houstom to find teams that can help us get better. And you have to nerve to bring up Foster,  See if you can get any BISD team to schedule them,

For the record I support Ozen ,but have a different perspective than ozenfinest .WOS in my opinion, should win, based on how they have dominated in the playoffs.They are the only local team remaining, with opportunity to win a state football championship.With that being said. you all have my support, and I will be there to cheer you on as though it was Ozen, in hopes you would do the same for us being a local team with the opportunity to do something only 1 school in each division has a chance to do, WIN THAT STATE CHAMPIONSHIP.In conclusion, don't put all Ozen supporters in one group,and we won't put all WOS supporters in one group, we all have our own opinion, GO WIN STATE WOS.

#19 ALMOST had a pick six at the end, but still the interception was a great play and at a time when it was needed.  

He won't it's too big of a game.

Gilmer DOES have a 30 game winning streak going...   they aren't just going to lay down and die. Plus... they're 2-0 against Celina all-time and beat them 67-14 last year.  Yes, Celina has been more consistent this year but other than that win over Argyle 3 months ago, which is exactly how long ago Cuero lost to Wharton by 22 points (whom WOS beat by 32 points),  who else have they beaten? Gilmer matches up very well against Celina.  I think WOS has a very good chance against either if we make it past Cuero.  We've had two shots against Gilmer and held our own both times but came up short.  Celina is a different animal.  I'd love to see a WOS/Celina matchup just to say we played a legendary program like that but honestly I think we have a much better chance if we face Gilmer again.
 

Look back at WO-S semi-final round history.  None of these games really were for the weak of heart.  1986 New Braunfels, down 12-0 at the half with their running back Brad Grant, WO-S pulled it out in the 2nd half 28-12.  Then '87 & '88 with Tivy, WO-S wins 21-7 and 28-14 I think. 2000 was Calallen, only last minute defensive stand and unbelievable go ahead TD. Forget that final score.  Wimberly in '05 got out of hand in the 2nd half.  Sinton hung tough last year till late. If you got some meds in the cabinet, line em up.

They had the state rushing leader , I remember he was #33 , WOS middle LB Jeff Knox was also #33, they met up close on the first play. Jeff slobber knocked him if I remember right. he had a bad afternoon.  The next week we got the new rushing leader Randy Simmons from McKinney . he was a really sore looser.

Just like I said a week ago, WO-S posters are, on the whole, more disciplined than your average poster.

This is true but the defense has to stop that one score that would or could beat you...Thus defense wins championships.

Defensive front and Linebacker corps did a super job last night keeping Bellville bottled  up . With the O sputtering and with turnovers they kept us in the game. But you gotta have it all to get to the big dance and win it. 

There you go again.Old gloom and doom Skip lol.Wasn't the defense that lost that game,We held a team that was scoring 60 points a game to 35.Touchdown called back on a bad call and to many miscues by the offense.
And just how close would that game have been last night without a great defense? Old saying...I think not.

I look for Bellville to do what got them there, but I believe they are well aware of how many Slot/Wing T teams we see, and control . They will try some new wrinkles, razzle dazzle which usually does not fool the chain gang. We play good solid defense and keep them in front of the Safety's, gonna be a long night for the Brahma's .
