Taking nothing away from WO-S, but this has to be the easiest 4 rounds of playoffs they have ever seen.  This will be another massacre. 
Honestly, next round doesn't look to be much tougher.  The only question left is do they play Celina or Gilmer for all the marbles?
What makes them look so easy is because Wo-S simply has no rival in D-2 Reg. III.

Agree about Region I.  Region 2 has Gilmer who is clearly the best there too.  Region IV has 2 second place teams likely in the finals, so no clear powerhouse coming out of that group.  I would bet WO-S would like a shot at some revenge against Wimberely.

Navasota will shut Jasper out if we rely on Tiger on the ground for everything.  We need to seriously look for some plays over the top to loosen up the corners so that when Tiger goes he will have the space to do it.

Jasper has the ability to make it a game.    Navasota is just on a different level these last few years.  We have beaten them in the playoffs before, but that was a long time ago.   Nowadays, they are just loaded with athletes.  Hoping we pull it out, but it would be a big upset.  Jasper is a dangerous team just because of their athleticism, and with a few good bounces you never know.

Probably goes down as co-champs, but Tigers are the champs in my book.  Congrats to silsbee, and good luck in the playoffs. 

"you jasper fans" should read 'you jasper fan."  Blu is the only jasper fan who has posted here making broad claims of imminent destruction for Silsbee.  Honestly, it is exciting to see a liitle spirit out of Jasper supporters.  Haven't seen it much this year. And if the Silsbee rivalry doesn't bring it out nothing will. 
 
Now this Jasper fans opinion is only based on what i have seen from Jasper this year and what little i know about Silsbee 
 
1.  Disrict championship on the line 
2.  Bragging rights on the line, this is a real old rivalry as mentioned   This will be the only game that some fans will see for either team all year just because of who it is  
3.  Both teams want the best seed. 
4.  Both teams want to enter the playoffs on a huge win. 
5.  Silsbee will have a packed house to defend their home field, and Jasper will fill their side as well   Going to be a playoff type atmosphere   The kids will be amped to the max 
Jasper has certainly improved.  The lose to Vidor disturbs me more than to WO-S because it exposed what I have seen all year which is inconsistency against the run.  Silsbee's mobile qb will be the key to the game.  If Jasper stops him from running loose at a few important moments I Think they win, because Jasper should put up a lot of points.  
 
Silsbee has the ability to score and has given up a lot of points too.  
Honestly, it should come down to who makes the big plays.  No clear favorite here in my opinion.  I just want to wipe away the last memory i had watching Jasper at silsbee.  It was not pretty.

I don't think they will run away with it.  LCM needs the win too.  At LCM should be a close one.  Hope the Dogs come out on top.  Jasper has struggled this year with consistency on both sides of the ball.  If they can continue to improved they might still make a little noise come playoff time.

Not surprising to see a close game at the half.  Joaquin is tough and it is a huge rivalry up there in Shelby County between these two.

BC's coach Dubois handled Jasper last year while at HJ.  Jasper has shown a weakness at stopping the run this year.  I think this will be a shoot out.  Probably come down to turnovers or intangibles.

williams played the whole game.   Sounds like they didn't turn him lose, which was the right move coming off of a knee injury.   Center made a lot of big plays on 3rd and 4th down.

We [Jasper] are just not a good football team right now, definitely a regression from last year.

Another boost for the young Stangs to start the Season 3-0.   WO-S will offer no quarters to a team. Jasper is licking their wounds after this one even more so than last week.   Hopefully we can get healthy and compete for a playoff spot and peak late.   We have the tools needed if we can put all the pieces together.   Those district games look a lot tougher now after the results of the last two weeks.
