  1. I saw on a website 40-28 WH with 3min to go. I have no clue if the source is reliable. Looks like a three way tie for 2nd place in district if it is correct. Colmesneil beat WH by 16. Iola beat Colmesneil by 16. I think WH would have to win by more than that to get in. If they win by 17 or more I think that puts WH in as #2, Iola as #3 and Colmesneil would be out of the playoffs. Crazy...
  2. Colmesneil vs. Hull-Daisetta All-Time Series - 10 games Hull-Daisetta leads series 9-1 over Colmesneil. Bulldogs only victory was in 2009, beating the Bobcats 36-20. HD has outscored Colmesneil 440-109 in all time series. (44-11 average score) Average score in 9 Bobcat wins: 47-8 Let's get ready to roll baby. Playoffs are right around the corner, but we've got a talented Bulldog team to take care of first. HD NATION!!!!
  3. HD is on a mission and will not be denied. Limit the big play and pressure Walsh and its all over but the crying. Bobcats - 36 Bulldogs - 14
  4. Wolves roll and it's over by mid 2nd quarter. San Augustine - 54 Cushing - 6
  5. I think West Sabine wins this one without a doubt. I think there is only about a 1% chance that Shelbyville beats Alto, but it's kinda crazy to think that if they beat the Yellowjackets by 15 points, that Alto doesn't make the playoffs. My predictions: West Sabine - 38 Grapeland - 20 Alto - 44 Shelbyville - 18
  6. Should be a tough hard hitting game this Friday night in Colmesneil. The Bulldogs are coming off a defeat at the hands of the Iola Bulldogs while the Bobcats took care of the West Hardin Oilers. If HD wins, they will be district champions. If Colmesneil wins, it will create a three-way tie for the district championship with HD, Iola, and Colmesneil. HD is clicking on all cylinders and coming in on a 4 game winning streak (outscoring opponents 45-19). Colmesneil has an experienced team with several playmakers who are looking to avenge last year's loss to HD (70-14) and build momentum going into the playoffs. What are your thoughts on the game?
  7. HD did not stop #6 John Kay, as he finished with 160 yards rushing. After back to back 300 yard rushing games, HD held #3 QB Hayden Martinez to 76 yards rushing on the night. Colmesneil didn't "stop" either of the two. #6 rushed for 119 yards on 14 carries and #3 rushed for 311 yards on 17 carries. Iola accumulated 441 rushing yards against Colmesneil. HD allowed roughly half of that total. HD will put up similar numbers against Colmesneil but it will probably be 3 or 4 guys going for 100+ instead of one over 300.
  8. I agree with everything you said. I'm not saying HD would be the favorite, that they won't be overmatched or that we will win against those teams. I am saying that if HD plays a great game, doesn't make mental mistakes, and creates and capitalizes and a couple turnovers......the Bobcats can definitely pull off an improbable win. Honestly I've watched fame film on SA, Alto, Juaquin and Mart and I think SA has the most top to bottom talent. I think Mart is right there with them. I think HD matches up best with Alto (out of that group) and that's who HD will likely see early on. I'm glad that SA and Mart will most likely be on tge bottom side of the bracket. I think the Bosqueville/Mart loser will take out Joaquin in RD 2.
  9. We can't chose the district we play in. All we can do is roll through it, which is what we've done. That's why we played a tough pre-district schedule with teams like Groveton, Kountze and Deweyville. The only 1A teams we played were Lovelady and Normangee who were a combined 19-6 last year. We will be ready for Alto if that's who we get in the 2nd round. HD may not win but I promise you it'll be a ball game. We'll be even better next year with 90% of our starters being underclass men. HD Nation!!
  10. Timpson and HD have a chance to get to the semi as well. Bosqueville is 9-0 and they could quite possibly be the best team in the region. We will see next friday when they play Mart. Overall this region is loaded and there is no telling what's gonna happen. Should be alot of fun to see how it plays out.
  11. HD takes a knee three plays in a row. Hull-Daisetta Bobcats - 44 West Hardin Oilers    - 14 Final.
  12. West Hardin scores against HD's 2nd and 3rd defense. 2pt conversion good. Bobcats - 44 Oilers - 14 1:24 to go
  13. Cade Huckabay in at QB runs one in from 5 yards out for HD. XP good. Bobcats - 44 Oilers - 6
  14. Garrett Hickman with a 6 yard TD run for HD. XP is good. Bobcats - 37 Oilers - 6 :40 left in 3rd
  15. Bobcats receive 2nd half kick and Chris Herman has carries of 5, 4, 7, 35 and finishes it off himself from 4 yards out. XP no good. Bobcats - 30 Oilers - 6 9:30 in 3rd
  16. Justin Kelly with a couple nice runs for WH capped by a 17yd TD. XP blocked by D. Lavalais and he scooped it up and ran 90 yards for 2pts. Bobcats - 24 Oilers - 6 8min in 2nd
  17. Colby Espree with a 15 yard TD run for HD. 2pt failed. Bobcats - 22 Oilers - 0 10:23 in 2nd
  18. Oilers fumble on first play after kickoff. Austin Edmondson with a 26 yard TD pass on HD first play to Dustin Welch. Welch runs in the 2pt as well. Bobcats - 16 Oilers - 0 7:43 in 1st
