there is no protest
there was no gentleman's agreement.
and there was no confusion. we flipped lcm vs jasper (with understanding if jasper won the flip they could still use Lamar as their home field if decided to)
innacurrate and irresponsible jounalism. there should be a law against it.
bear has it correct.

I was at the game last night. I know for a fact that Coach Rupp and Coach Kirkland have a mutual respect for each other and are friends. Neither coach would blatantly disrespect the other. The relationship for both coaches goes back to the early 2000s so they have known each other for a while. Both teams respect each other and showed good sportsmanship before and after the game. Great game by both teams last night. As a fan, one can only hope the game today is just as good. Good luck to both.

hjmom2012, I am sure you could come out and call the Hardin Jefferson Athletic Department, and they would be glad to discuss any ideas you may have.
I agree with pickle. I bet they work on offense every day. -
I can confirm that it is true. The preparations for this is underway and the game will happen.

All games are canceled: 7th,8th,9th,JV. No games tonight.

It's a little early for that don't you think? Why not keep playing Cleveland? :
You obviously have no idea what goes into making a football schedule or when it is made. If you are making comments like this, this message obviously doesn't pertain to you. I promise you that your beloved Bridge City is making next years schedule out at this time also. I am sure HJ appreciates your help though.

OK....it is time to move on. The game was a great game between two good teams. Both teams made good plays, both pitchers went toe to toe and had great games, and hitters on both sides did a good job of battling for their respective teams. The game was very even and very close as it should have been between two playoff quality teams. It is a shame one of them had to lose. That is the way high school baseball should be played. Good luck to both teams this Friday and the rest of the season.

Baytown Sterling is Open
in High School Football
Posted
For the record, Chad Taylor has not had one conversation with anyone from Goose Creek CISD or Baytown Sterling. I have not applied for the position at Sterling, nor did it even cross my mind. Coach Fortune did call me one day and ask if I was going to apply, but I told him that I am a Liberty Panther next year and after that, I would re-evaluate, as does every coach at the end of a season. I did apply and interviewed for the position at Baytown Lee last year, but that is it. You guys are correct, I do live close to Baytown Lee and it made a lot of sense at the time. My wife and I both have taught in the GCCISD and it was good to us, however, we are Liberty Panthers!! Not sure how my name got brought into this post or conversation but as me applying for and interviewing at Baytown Sterling, not true. Call GCCISD, ask them if I applied! You guys have a nice day!
