Anyone know what the score was between the Jasper 8th grade and WOS 8th grade?

Silsbee 8th grade faces these two teams next, was just wondering what the outcome was.

27 - 22 Jasper is what I think I saw on the other thread.  Not sure if it was a final.

Why does everyone think that Kville is better than Newton, Kville beat Newton for the time in 32yrs last season, and that was one of the best squads Kville had in years. Newton has been dominating Kville for a very long time and now that they are starting to win everyone jumps on the band wagon, But I kind of excepted this, people have been hating on Newton for long as i can remember, and i guess no matter who Newton beats they will never be good enough to the golden triangle area... :-\

Don't lump all of the golden triangle in together.  There are many WOS fans that have much respect for Newton and were looking forward and maybe even a little hesitant when WOS had Newton on the schedule.  One of these days we will get to see that game.  But I think the teams are very familiar in that they have alot of haters due to their success.  Everybody talks about them being overrated but how can any team be overrated when there isn't a single team in this area that can consistently beat either one.  Yea maybe they are overrated if you compare them to the Texans.....or maybe not.  But thats a different story.

I agree Best in Texas is a stretch....He just doesn't have the size to get noticed by D-1 schools.

The only problem with him getting the stats is that half of the district games he will probably be only playing 3 quarters of the game.....on the other hand the only stat that matters is the win/loss column

I know of a few fields where this game could be played Saturday with or without MOODY.......He should probably get used to LCM games without him there because next year he won't be there.....

Honestly I felt that Quintavious was on par with DPG last year...Just look at his yards per carry last year...however this year QG seems to have gotten a little quicker....he was just as elusive and tough to tackle last year but he has added a little more speed...He seems to block pretty well also so that should help the passing game a little

Our 3rd stringer averaged 10 yards per carry.   300 yards rushing for WB with starters out for the entire 4th quarter.   Score 50-7 yet Ozen "gave that game away".   You have to hand it to him, OzenFinest doesn't quit.        ;D

you must've not seen the 1st qt. huh?? maybe you just dont understand football we everytime we turned over the ball you guys scored.........you dont call that giving away the game then i dont know what to call it

Protecting the football is part of the game.  But if they scored everytime Ozen turned it over then im pretty sure they would have scored any time they had the ball.....meaning ozen was just outmatched get over it and move on to next week.

Everyone take your box fans and go outside with them and point them towards Louisiana and put them on HIGH.   ;D

Not going to happen since I'm a WOS fan.  But it was a good effort the comeback was quick and good.....maybe someday you can take advantage of that talent......like maybe someday Silsbee can take advantage of their talent.  Aside from a few players silsbee has had the biggest and most athletic team in that district but can't quite seem to put it together....Maybe Someday

It's not worth replyin really, because they always see it their way. Others act like they have never been in the wrong and are just perfect, taking some actions and implying it to the rest. I don't know why but WOS has always been a team that many dont like. It's pretty much you like us alot or just plum out right hate us. It's alright though because i know our program is respectful and it doesn't need to be clarified or judged by others.

So your gonna hate the team for something the fans did.  The players waiting patiently and the coaches kept the refs from throwing the penalty against bridge city.  Last i checked that is the definition of class.  The deal is if Bridge City was playing this game to make the playoffs they would have done it differently as to not risk a forfeit.

Your up 47 points at halftime BC's senoirs last halftime and it goes 15 minutes long and you censored and moan because there being honored for being a senior? thats really sad to be a great team like that and have NO i mean NO class. BC was 0-10 and has no room to talk but they deserve respect. You people should have been applauding rather than booing these young adults in there time of honor. I was disappointed in there actions. BC played hard all year despite all there troubles. WO-S can hate me all they want and i don't care because from this point on i will never have respect for them again.

Kirbyville was out of control with their horn when WOS was playing them.

How come Brook doesnt get more publicity.  Its usually always the same few posters.  They are the only team that has made a legitamite run the past two years.  Too much hype about the overrated 4a district in our area.

Dont visiting basketball teams run to the middle after they announce the starters.  Whats the difference.  Sounds like BC is upset that they have one of the worst defences i have ever seen.  How do you run up the middle 4 or 5 times for 40 and 50 yards without being touched.  Its like they would purposefully stay away form the play.  The offense wasnt as bad.

I'm glad we're adding a few more plays to the playbook because we'll need them against Giddings or Caldwell.

Where's Toby?

Last I heard he was over there in baytown with a non playoff team.  I think they say there playcalling is bad or something.
