i have seen central play all their games so far this year and i am going out and saying this "i have seen a change in this team since that lost to Wb". i think the off-line has gotten better at run blocking and pass blocking. I think the rb's have started hitting the hole. that darby kid can play. i think the wr's have gotten better with 7 and 10 to help out 5 and 84. I THINK ROB has started to trust in line, rbs, wrs, and his one abilities and it shows. I think the coaches must have started coaching better or the kids just finally understand and refused to loose. this was a young team at the beginning but i guess 6 ball games in they are young anymore! defense will get better

I was at the scrimmage and BH ONLY SCORED once against Central and Central Scored once against yall with the sophmore qb in. HF scored once against Central and  central's  qb directed the offense to a scored in 3 or 4 plays and then was pulled for the rest of the night. BH FAN do indeed tell big lies and little truth. I agree they looked more consisitent than anyother team but Central could have looked better if Robert PLAYED more!!!

it would have been nice to be able to play all the best teams in the area

central freshman team only loses were to ozen girls in district and a matter of fact for the season.

the home team will win. malena washington is on a tear as of lately. she is leading and # 5, 3, 10, 30, 12, 42, 22, and 15 have been working score and playing solid defensive. the jags win by 9

i love nekia #21 handles but to say he handles is better than melena or asia is a little too much. these two girls can really handle the rock but they just dont show as much flash as nekia does. they just get by u and get to the rack or set someone else up. now nekia puts the show in the show because of her size and the expectations everyone expect once they see a girl her size. outside of a horrible second quarter central won every qrt or tied. i hope that we get a chance to see a third game but who knows.

i kirby would be a good fit but also think that donald douglas would be a good hire. i just hope that if either one of them gets the job that they hire a good staff because getting the wrong coaches just because i like them and know them could be cataphic to their coaching tenure at wb

let me go on record to say that since they dont give coach of the year to the coach that wins district in the case of coach washigton last yr. i will say jeff mathews sould win it based solely on the fact that he keep his team together thru some tough times and got thm three rounds deep. first class coach.  i usually got with a bmt team but for ones jeff deserves it

i agree at the very least he would have ran cause they would have to cover the wideouts

i have been to lot of central games throught out my life time and i would like to point this out. central has enough talent to do whatever off/ or def they want traditionally. it they are going to run spread then they must open it up and spread teams vertically and horizontally. this yr they didnt have a receiver that threatened anybody when team like vidor, lumberton, png, livingston, and ozen play man. so naturally teams put more people in the box to stop the run. the rb this yr werent as fast, shifty, and as good as the ones from the past. not to mention that they too didnt put fear in opposing  coaches heart. since we are referencing lumberton game,  rememer that the backs got caught from behind not at an angle just ran down from behind twice in that game. so i would put 8 or 9 in the box cause their is no home run threat!! the qb goes down and he was the only threat they had this yr with his feet, cause again he didnt throw the ball and they couldnt out run anybody in the district. when he got hurt the other kid was just a dont loose the game qb. he didnt threaten any body with his feet or arm. every team that faced him put 8 or 9 people in the box. The offenses line was the best group offensively but not much you can do when everybody in the stadium know that you are going to run because wr dont run by anybody, qb aint throwing the ball, the qb is the runner, the backup qb cant throw or run, running back arent a threat but i know the play is a run so i guess or i know i will put 9 in the box! defensively they were a soft bunch of kids. they played tough against spread teams but when teams run right at you  kids get soft. think about it teams that ran right at us just tatolly knocked us right of the ball. fast in some position but slow at other spots. i agree coaching  was some missed opportunites

central freshaman have beat every team but memorial freshaman team. central has a freshman team of about 55 kids. the qb is really good, the oline is big, 4 to 5 good wide receivers with speed, and a tailback the can run. the defense is just a good with 3 straight shutouts. i have heard that this will be a good games so i will definitely be their to support our 9th graders

really. i see a whole bunch of garabe being written on this site. a person can definitely tell where everyones hearts lies at. i cant believe that some of yall actually believe ozen did better than central against wb and brook. so people are just blinded by loyalty, stubborness, pay check, and whatever your case is.  so blame the thumping on the article that was written in the paper and i quote," we believe that we were more physical last yr than central per coaches and players".

central won 4 tds to 1. the defense swarmed all over then. the defensive front was active and physical with worthing. the offense started out strong until a string of 4 chop block ended the first series. then they cuaght firer and started rolling by air and ground. the offensive line was physical still too many mistakes at receiver. robert is a true d-1 talent leading the charge. could have been worse b/c several long run were called back. cant wait till friday with lamarqe comes to town

look people jacobi jones is a good back he wore jersey number 1 this past year on varsity. the freshman kids that parents kept him off varsity name is chris james. he should be getting alot of the reps by the end of the yr. now yall people must be kidding yall self if yall dont think that central doesnt have a good running back with speed every year. when was the last time that they didnt. who ever it is will make it in the top 5 by the end of the year. i heard they got a transfer back in that also that played for a state championship recently at a lower classification. he can go cause i seen him play in a playoff games against la vega.

thanks for keeping us posted ozen fastest 1906. i know coach strange is coaching up those kids and doing a great job. the district race should be interesting because both them and nederland had a total of 89 points. where will it be held cause if it is close and at a decent staduim i am in that thang

thats why i said she deserves being mvp. i know she won mvp also. i was just wondering why the 1st place team or the team that went the farthest didnt win it cause their teams did place higher. central would not have won district if it didnt have jalesha and ozen wouldnt have made the trip to austin without asia, and livingston wouldnt have made the playoffs with out ms. harris, but they were a 3rd place team that went one an done in the playoffs. i believe that all three were deserving of the award but i am not sure that ms. harris is the clear cut mvp of the district in my eyes. of the three i mention 2 won superalatives

mrs. harris is well deserved of the mvp, but she was on a third place team. central and ozen both had players that made the all- state list and whom teams finished 1-2 in district. i would have loved to be at that meeting to see voting.
