that was one of the most boring games i have ever seen. lumberton coach played stall ball and just didnt want to get blown out type of game plan. i mean it gives them hope and might be brillant on his part. some times you just know that the matchup arent in your favor

they dont split ties. they dont vote again. thats why 6-8 centers made second team.  

congrates to all the kids that made the selection and to all the kids that wasnt selected. remember college scouts do not look at the all district selections of the newspaper. they actually watch film 1st  and ask your coaches and other district coaches about you. so as long as the film shows good things colleges coaches will be calling

sometimes it is buddy- buddy and some times it is political? their is a difference. coaches cant vote for themselves. so i was told the vote was 4-3-1. so two coaches got the votes and one coach got the throw everything off  vote. the political side of these things are showing more and more daily

let me start off by saying this. no disrespect to coach crouch cause he is trully a good coach and deserved to be recognized, but the man had 18 starter returning and finished in 5th place. on the other had coach washington for central had to replace 17 starters and finished with the first out right district title since 86 i think. not only does the award annual go to the coach that wins district title, but this year they decided to be political with the award. some of you will say that central was picked to finish first but as chris berman says that is why they play the games. there was lot of b/s choices like kids not playing in any  or few district that got elected for 1st or 2nd teams. neuman and faircloth kids both played had and made it to the playoff but did not and shouldnt have won coach of the year also.

ozen has one soph that is 6'6 about 250 lbs. that plays varsity some games and jv some. the freshman team at ozen has a 6-5, 6-4, and two 6-3 twins. they have alot of size on the underneath levels. cant move them up now cause they are trying to get playing time for all of them for development

i agree with you about loving to have a david green on your team, but the teams that have made it do have quality qb on their teams. we/ they just hope not to play a team with a david green type kid. to comment on the hughes thing i agree he is a natural leader and it is unfair that he doesnt have the supporting cast that some of the other have. cause if you put him and david green with central defense and their offenses then they both would be in the playoffs.

district mvp: damon heard off. mvp: hunters gonzales def. mvp:  kewon #95 central newcomer: robert mitchell- usually goes to a soph or freshman 1st team: david green ; doty. just like last year it was hughes and doty 1st team.

going into the season many of the people is setx would have said Doty(PNG) or hughes (LUM) but after watching alot of the games this year i doubt in everyone agree with that. I feel that David Green has out played them. That kids has played his heart out to the tune of no victories in district. ozen is avg  35 point the last five games cause he is ballin. Hunter (lcm) has lead his team to the brink of the playoffs. he is another one of those cause he is the signal caller his team is going to avg 30 pts a games. Robert Mitchell (cen) has stepped up and made plays with his feet and arm. does have to make plays for his team like the others do but quietly gets the job done leading the undefeated jags. forney has lead his team back to playoff contention. so what do yah think

#8 cantue is ok. he was released saturday night from the hospital. he will have a full recovery and has been release to practice. supposedly a pinch nerves/stinger. he jags will win the game by the score of 42-28. dont see png stopping the run and if they thought nelson from ozen is fast they havent seen keonis brazier yet. he is twice as fast. let the track meet begin.

i am just simply stating that yall cant take them for playing like an 0-5 team

likewise ozen hasnt put together 4 quarters worth of games. they could easily be 4-1, 3-2, 2-3 in district. if david green play the whole four quarter they might beat lcm. he came in the game in the fourth and threw two tds. they had vidor beat 28-17 in the fourth quarter until things imploded. so one or more well excuted plays and that a different game. the png game and it was 42-42 with david green driving the ball until the imfamous play clock encounter. he might score with the down being 3rd-6 but after that 3rd-11. png couldnt stop him. liv- ozen was winning 17-14 in the fourth until the fumble returned for a touchdown started the downard spiral. so the panther just might play four quarters this week.

i hope ozen pulls this game off cause boy do they need it. i feel that if the panther play defense meaning flatline, twist the front, blitz, and play solid in coverage then they will be able to contain the bulldog 35-24 but if they dont bring their a game defensely then it will be the same results of the previous weeks a lose by the score of 42-28. forney is slow unleash the beast and get after the wilddog

are you kidding. this district is over the race has been run and central came out on top. win this week guarantees that central will be the lone winner. with two games to go and a two game lead central all the way

great game tre green. keep slanging that thang around the field. glad to see him (ozen) chopping up png def. to the sum of six touchdown. he is a junior so that means bmt will have two great qbs  a juniior and senior next year. look out memorial titans's singleton cause you have competition from the qb's of bmt. all three can run, throw, and lead so it should be great to watch.
