[/quote] Dayton Beats Humble?  Maybe.   Really no way to really draw an comparison to the two, neither have had similar opponents.  It really is just a matter of speculation on either side if you were to make that a serious assertion. I can look at Humble and Dayton and see potential match up problems for either side.  Dayton has better coaching, im not really sure by how much because again their really isn't a similar opponent to do even a poor comparison.  Humble has better athletes, larger participation numbers apparently, and run a defensive scheme that gives offenses like Dayton trouble. Dayton runs a pretty solid defensive scheme that i could see hampering the lack luster Humble offense ive seen as of late.  Dayton executes the flats really well, and that is where Humble has been making it's yardage.   If they have sufficient speed flying to the flats, i could see it turning to a game that favored Dayton.  However, if they don't have the athletic ability to keep our speed from taking over the game...then it could get out of control quickly.   Humble like any team that has an abundance of skill players has the potential to break big plays at the sign of a mental lapse. I'v[color=red]e gotten the same impression.  The insecurity i am picking up is irritating, and it completely distracting of the point.  We have argued that Ike has better athletes then Dayton, which is pretty much factual....it's silly to oppose the view, based purely on loyalty and bias.    The real discussion is between the mis-matches each team potentially possess over the other. Instead they want to argue who is better, so one can fictionally thump their chests until game day when the preconceived notions are obliterated by truth.[/color] ~ [color=red][color=black]Whats irritating is your monster ego - and your oxy-moronic statements I never heard anybody say we were better than Ike. [color=red]Their was an article in the Chronicle not to long ago (i believe 08) about how they had consistently put 15 or more kids in college over the last 3 years[/color].  ~  To me that means over a 3yr period and Dayton has done that many. Last year Payton Ploch was All Greater Houston Player of the year ( that includes 5a )  In 08 AJ Dugat Parade All American and Cody Green started as QB for Nebraska's against Baylor. Tony Hill last year second team all state this year already  D.Wright among the best 300 in TX by Dave Campbell just don't see us being completely over matched maybe some, but not alot our conditioning program will easily make up the diff and then some.

OK- Mr. HUM398 please enlighten us on Ike's big guns and why Dayton will be so athletically over matched ? Give some examples and facts not just rhetoric ! I say this most respectfully . ( you need to really come watch the game you might be surprized )

I must say I'm impressed if not Humbled .

I would never mistake LT for anything ! Dayton played them a couple of years ago and I talk with their posters year around on other sites . Dayton might be a little over-matched against Ike and that's to be expected against a 5a team,but to say they will be completely over-matched is over the top. To be honest I don't know if Dayton wins or not but I do know it will be a dog fight and Ike better not underestimate us !

Dayton will be fast and quick and have the athletes to hang with any team they come up against period. Two years ago when CE King was undefeated( until the Dayton game) and had a D-1 RB with blazzing speed ESPN radio said the game was going to be a blowout in Kings favor. Kings D-1 RB had a total of 26 YDS rushing and Dayton won 46 to 0 .

Guess you didn't make it to the track meets this year. This will be one of the fastest Bronco teams we've had in a while - team speed over all will be faster than the 2008 team that played for state.  The backfield led by Xavier Baldwin and Jakari Delasbour both have 4.4 speed. Our offense and defense lines led by monsters Ripkowski, Booth, Wright  have 4.7,4.8,5.0 (40's ) The Broncos will be more than formidable this year its going to be fun!
