1.
Who is Brenham's #1 pitcher?
I wouldn't say number 1 but if I had to choose I would say Brewton but Jozwiak can be better than him. They have different strength and weaknesses...
 2.
Ok Ill take that bet!  ;D I saw two sophs and one  jr hit 86 early in the season for Brenham...and I didnt see Joziwak pitch so not sure if he is up there or not. I agree with you ragarm, I fully understand about pitching at a speed that you can control and think with...but I think at the 5a level alone you will see more than two guys hitting 90 plus. The Woodlands, Pearland, and Kempner all have legit shots at getting there just form the Houston area alone. The kid from Pearland hit 95mph just last week.  I also feel like there is a bigger difference to a high school hitter facing a pitcher sitting 82-84 to 87-88 than there is in facing 87-88 to 90-92. Let me ask this, who are the hardest throwers each team has faced this year out of curiosity?
Go to Round Rock in June and watch the four teams from each division's pitching staffs.  You won't see, probably, two pitchers during the whole three days that will hit 90mph on a radar gun.  That doesn't mean that many of them can't rare back and hit 90.  They just don't....They PITCH.

Brenham faced Stubblefield from lufkin, Rosipal from cedar ridge, Rummel from Lamar, Garrett from Montgomery, and Williams from Bastrop I know hit upper 80s easily. These are the only ones I can think of on top of my head and all started against us.
Yes they do
Who?
Sophomore and 2 juniors can hit at it and above it

Have you guys seen Brenham play this year? From a pitching standpoint Thames is very good but not overpowering, 83-85 mph tops...They do not have a 95mph stud ala Josh Beckett to trot out there which I think somewhat equalizes them come playoff series time IMHO. Now Brenham doesnt either which is why I think this series is a toss up regardless of records, dont let the rankings and records fool you. Denny and Wunderlich are both studs. Newman and Beasley both very good catchers. Homan and Joziwak are both good SS. Thames is probably the best pitcher in the series but Brenham has very capable arms as well. Its too bad this matchup is happening so early in the playoffs too. Anyway I hope they figure out a way to keep it a 3 game series.
Mine is more of an opinion than an assessment based on fact.
Who is your game 3 pitcher if it did happen?
Johnny Wholestaff
;) alright don't tell me

 7.
Barbers Hill and Vidor played a dh on a Saturday in '07 when Vidor's prom was that night. If I'm not mistaken, all of the Vidor players made it to the prom as well. I am starting to think like an earlier poster questioned....did this all come up before or after the coin flip ?
There never was a coin flip because they both decided 2 out of 3 one at each home field. Then the EOC testing thing came up after this was decided. So it was going to be 1 Friday and DH on Saturday but they agreed to DH on Friday instead of Saturday..
 8. Game 1 Friday @ 5:30 Game 2 30 minutes following game 1 f Game 3 Saturday @ 12 All games at oak ridge
 9.

Why in the world would Brenham schedule their prom smack dab in the middle of the playoffs? Were they not planning on still being in the playoffs? Come on now! Don't tell me that prom is a "school event" and the baseball program has no say so on when it is held. This is Brenham we're talking about here.
Graduations and Prom are part of it this time of year.  The coaches know that and schedule around it.  It's the same way every year and the coaches figure out ways to deal with it.  Hence the Thursday, Friday, early Saturday schedule in this series.
Yeah it was Thursday Friday Saturday but can't play on Thursday due to EOC testing.... It's gonna be 1 gamer or 2 out 3 DH on Friday neutral site
 10.
play one game Friday, then start early on Saturday.  Kids will make the prom.  Excuses.....excuses........  Seems to me someone is wanting to change what was agreed to.
I'm just relaying info dont get your panties in a wad...

Friday and a DH on Saturday. The tests are only 9th and 10th grade.
Brenham doesn't want that cause of prom. If any DH it would be Friday at neutral site more than likely

 13. Brenham in 3..... Who y'all think bh is throwing first?
 14.
I see they are 3-6 now? When is the last time they had that rough of a start?
20-7 now (15 game winning streak...) and you were saying?? ;)
