1. I know the Jayhawks would love to have him ~ maybe I'll make some calls .
 2.
The Dayton cronies are all saying YEP...Country Kitchen talk today was all about AJ.
The verdict is in ! If you heard it at the Country Kitchen it has to be true .
 3. My take on the tough pre-district schedule is that Stewart must think he's going to have an awesome team this year or he wouldn't go out of his way to burden the team with a early string of loses. ~ just my positive slant on things ~
 4.
Looking deep inside the 2010 Broncos I see some lack of seniors & juniors from the 2009 roster although the returning players got alot of experience going 4 games deep in the playoffs.Last year we had 19 seniors w/many 3 & 4 yr.starters-14 juniors-7 soph.-1 freshman kicker so without any new or move in's-or transfers this team will have only 14 seniors-7 jrs.-1 soph plus whatever class players move up from JV and freshman teams. In comparison to teams like FWood.-Angleton-PNG's out there that field 25-30 seniors nearly every year. But Dayton finds ways to continue winning every year w/young talent. To win the district outright on paper would be a tall order but the coaching staff seems to bring out the best in these kids year after year.I like the Broncos chances but how healthy will they be after the rugged pre-dist.schedule ahead of them.Always believe.
11 players on both sides of the ball equals 22 ~ returning players 14+7+1 equal 22 ~ looks like were good to go -so bring it on ! :)
 5. Really hate to hear that ! The guy is made of pure talent and is a nice young man ~ hope he figures it out and still makes a go of it somewhere else .
 6.
Anybody care to take a stab at 17-4A for next year?  Top 4?
Brenham if they are anything like last year will be #1 ( like their receivers and running back ) Montgomery looks to be a contender - Waller the wild-card - No knowledge of the other teams !
 7. When Dayton plays BH this year please tell me that the visitor bleachers have been expanded past the 40 yard line. ?  :-\
 8.
1. Crosby - Returning QB, but will need some help. 2. Baytown Lee - Underestimating the Ganders will be a big mistake! 3. Dayton - Limps into district after a brutal pre district! 4. BH - New Coach, New Sytem will be clicking by district! if not GCM 4. GCM - 3 rd year and they have to rebuild no more returning the whole team.
If Dayton comes out of pre-district unscaved (more than likely will ) then look out ! If they do get a little banged up then ... well thats why they schedule teams like BH early in the season. ;)

What week the barbers hill vs Dayton game is???? BHFan needs to know so he can make sure his anti-depression medicine is stocked up   ;D
I don't need the depression medicine this year, We have a new coach ;D ;D ;D
Just don't cancel your prescription. :o
Oh I won't! Living between Baytown and Dayton is depressing enough by itself ;)
I bet! I can only imagine how being in the middle of two outstanding communities like Dayton and Baytown would make one feel quite mediocre and extremely depressed. ;)
~Touche ~
 10.

Explain that one Lion1.  Gage has more experience and football knowledge than anyone on the current staff.  Don't forget he has two 5A state championships.  I don't see anyone on the current staff with those credentials.
You seem to forget about the number of D-1 kids and athletes he had on those teams....When is the last time BH has had a D-1 kid????
I know in 2008 they had a couple of em on their home turf ... but thats when they played Dayton ! AJ & Cody  :D
 11. Speaking from a fans vantage point the pleasure was all ours ! Now don't forget to hit those books and don't party to much ! ;) Good Luck from a appreciative Bronco fan !
 12. Now you know how Dayton feels ! We get zero coverage until all the other pet (area) Houston teams get beat out . They don't sell to many papers in Dayton so we get little respect. That's OK though because our record speaks volumes.  (If I was Crosby I wouldn't want to play Vidor either because they are a darn good team ) ;)
 13. If the score is even - just kick a field goal !  :-\ but if you have an AJ Dugat its an automatic touch down !
 14.
Quit talking about the past and stick to the present. Crosby beat Dayton 28-0 this year. Better luck next year. Merka will be back to kick some bronco a$$ ! Oh and by the way he will be at a D1 college when he graduates , and he will do great. He has what it takes (HEART) to excell in college football .
Start your own thread about Crosby and get off ours ! I don't hear you bragging about the beat down Ennis gave you this year!
 15. Way to go Cubs we knew you could do it ! good luck from Dayton -- all the way baby !
 16. ~~~~~ EXCELLANT !  ~~~~~~~
 17. (UN) fortunately- Dayton fans have become spoiled with the success of Stewarts program and come to expect a win no matter what ! Most are well meaning ,but frustrations gets the best of them sometimes. People have to realized when you make deep runs in the playoffs your playing other well coached, discipline power house teams that think they are as good as you are. Sometimes its just luck or fate that determines the outcome.
 18. As far as the belligerent fan thing goes I've noticed over the past several years the deeper we get  in the playoffs that's when the loonies come out of the woodwork and jump on the bandwagon. During the Lake Travis game there were some drunk belligerent people in front of me trying to taunt the LK fans all the way across the field - I just wished I had a baseball bat to show my appreciation ! Again I want to say thanks for all the Bronco players and what a gallant season you gave to all us fans ! And a shout out to Payton Ploch,Tony Hill, Xavier Franks and the rest of the seniors you will be sadly missed !
 19. Great game and great season Bronco's --- if wasn't for the last minute fumble might of been a different outcome. Oh well that's life ! Congrats to Brenham and good luck all the way to state !
 20. You might be a redneck Dayton fan if you feel at anytime that it's significant to share to the whole world that you just "farted"  :D
 21. Dave Campbell (what ever his name is) came out and reversed his decision for Dayton and picks Brenham. Wheres the  love ! Oh well kind of like it that way, suits me just fine ,know what I mean Vern !
 22.
LETS GO BRONCOS!!!!! One more SS fan rootin for ya!
Back to ya SS brothers ! Looks like both SS & Dayton are in for a tough match this next go around . What message boards do your fans usually post on ?
 23. 4th quarter play to seal the game... On 3rd and 10 deep in El Campo territory, Payton connects with Gamal Fowler on a wide receiver screen, Gamal breaks through the line and is off to the races. [Hidden Content] What impressed me the most about this play was the blocks the offensive line make for Fowler that aloud him to break out - outstanding --
 24. Here's to making the Cubs a little more unbalanced! - Seriously this should be one heck of a dog fight the team with the fewest mistakes wins this one -- GO BRONCO'S --
 25.
No way....leave Ploch in at receiver and sub him in the Wildcat when we need to run the ball.  10 gives us the best chance to win and is the better QB.  If the Angleton game yesterday didn't show you anything about needing balance to the offense then I don't know what to say.
Don't know if I agree with that or not. Against elite teams "10" seems to struggle although he's improving, when the pressure is on he gets indecisive and isn't big enough to power himself out of a jam like Payton P. can. Also the defence swats alot of his passes down. When Ploch took over in the forth he totally changed the complexion of the game (200 yds of offense) and he's always a threat to break off a big run. For my money Ploch is the key in post season.
