  1. You think Hardin has it in them to move over and take the 2nd seed?
  2. Personally I think OF rolls. Mexia has one guy, I think OF is to well coached to let one guy beat them
  3. Livingston isn’t no slouch either, they might not have to play because Livingston has shown they don’t always bring their best. I think BC can beat them because of coaching and Bush is legit but Livingston would have the best player on the court in that one and we all know with evenly matched teams having the best player on the court can be the deciding factor
  4. BC won’t have the depth to pull this one out. I hope I’m wrong, but I see Washington winning by double digits.
  5. How good is this Sabine Pass team? They they have a legit shot to make a deep run?
  6. Yep, that was the difference in this game, HJ didn’t hit but one 3 and Wheatley hit to many to count. Luckily they couldn’t make free throws or it might have been a little more lop sided! HJ is young and will return 95% of their team. Look out because they will be very good for the next few years.
  7. Haven’t seen Yates play this year does HF have a chance?
  8. Silsbee by 8. Silsbee might not be what they have been in the past, but they are still Silsbee. As long as they take care of the ball and don’t get killed on the boards they should be fine.
  9. Very interesting first round matchup. HJ has thrived in the type and style of game Wheatley is going to want to play, I think HJ’s size and coaching will be the difference. So it should be a good one! This is one of those games, that HJ’s first round matchup could potentially be a tougher game than the next few rounds.
  10. Was not expecting this! Tarkington must have came out on fire with the right game plan! Guess they really want that 4th place spot! I know it’s an uphill battle for them and would probably need some help and another upset but are they still in the hunt?
  11. Great game by both teams. IMO the reason WB won is they had the best player in the court last night. Jones is great and can score the basketball but EG can impact the game on both sides of the basketball and that’s the difference maker that makes WB the front runner to win the district. Before this game I was thinking each home team would win but after watching last night I got WB winning the outright district championship.
  12. I’ve got Brook winning at home by 7. I believe they split home and home and need a 3rd game to decide who is the district champion.
  13. I watched them against PNG, Nederland and then I watched the HJ game online. I’m not saying BC isn’t 10-15 points better than a full strength healthy Vidor team, because they are, but not how this game went. That’s why I was wondering about Vidors issues? There is a difference in a team winning each quarter by 3-5 and by the end of the game winning by 20 and a team being up 30 by halftime or midway through the 3rd and then winning by 20.
  14. Not sure if all of Vidors players are back or not, regardless of that Vidor must have some issues going on because I do believe BC is the best team in the district and will win it, but they are not that much better than Vidor. I’ve seen both play a couple of times this year.
  15. Haven’t seen Livingston yet this year but that seem to be racking up some wins. Do they have a legit shot at winning district?
