    WHAT???? NO FREAKIN WAY!

  2. Missing a Hockey Game for Football, that is a no-brainer in Southeast Texas. Ice is for Ice Tea in Texas not Hockey. Once again I wonder how much money the Wildcatters are going to lose for Jefferson County This year???

    :o :o :o

FORD PARK, NOT THE WILDCATTERS will probably cost you a whole lot more if people don't step up and support the events going on there!  It's already there, we might as well use it. Either way, the citizens of Jefferson County are gonna pay for it! As for me, I don't live in Jefferson County, so just consider my enjoying ice hockey as a favor to you if you live in the county! You're welcome!  ;)

***And now...back to your regularly scheduled LUMBERTON RAIDER THREAD!!

  3. Not ONE of the individuals seen in this picture lined up to shake hands! The player on the ground (#9 I think) had to be pulled up and escorted off the field. #33 threw his helmet and let it roll about 20 yards, while he went to his knees and pounded the ground. #45 sent an unprevoked message to a Raider player, whom he had absolutely NO reason to contact.

If you look closely, you will see some of the staff walking AWAY from the 50.

I said it in a different thread, and I'll say it again here: It's really hard to respect someone who doesn't even respect themselves.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words... ::)

  4. I hope none of Lumbertons players have to feel that kind of hurt and disappointment anytime soon.

We hope not either! But I'll tell you one thing: IF/WHEN our ride is over, our boys eh...young men will sow their oats will all the dignity and class that it sounds like PNG used last night.

Will it hurt? H E L L yeah, it'll hurt! But it will make all of these young men better people for it.

  5. Cardfan, it's NOT really about the emotions that they showed after losing, it's all the OTHER cr@p they started off with.

Those people (coaches and players included) came out acting like their waste products didn't reek.

Heck yeah, WE are talkin about 'em. They left a bad taste in our mouths. If winning the state championship every year for 100 years makes the people in the community think that they have the right to disrespect other people, I'd just as soon we stay home. NO little piece of metal is worth my kid giving up all his self respect.

You'll forgive us if we aren't real worried about their feelings right now?

  6. Just from the parts of the game I was able to listen to, it just sounded miserable all the way around. It was a cold, wet, stay at home curled up by the fire kind of day-NOT an outside kind of day. Sounds like your boys weren't able to shake the chills once they got off the bus. I really hate that for them. I was pulling for ya'll.

It was a great season, and you've got great fans. Nothing to be ashamed about.
