I am wondering why is there 3 topics of Crosby vs Vidor... all of them having Vidor talk a lot of trash.... Oh I know... It has been a long time sense Vidor has made the playoffs.  8 years running for Crosby under Flanigan.... And they all have to get it in now sense they will not have another till next year.. well I just leave you with this sense you have lost 1 or maybe 2 of your running  backs.... GOOD LUCK!!

Yes responsibility has to go somewhere.  I think it is both really. It is easy to point at coaches but Central had 23 fumbles and lost 15.  I don't think you can find any films that showed coaches puting it on the turf that many times.  It is tough to win when you have turnovers. Also when you lose some big games, heads go down. and stay down.  A coach can use negitive or positive reinforcement but sometimes kids just don't respond. Still you have to question the coaches.  What were they doing?  How do you go from the top to almost last in one year WITH THE SAME COACHES.. I do think it is a shame that the coaches have not come out publicly and defended there kids..  A coach can not let his kids take the blame.. I think the coaches will work the kids hard in the offseason and Central will be back on top of 20 4A. The great part about all of this is from the kids... there is no fingerpointing except on themselves.  They could jump on the bandwagon like lots of parents and fans and point at the coach.. We as a society love to point the finger somewhere else... It CANT BE MY FAULT!! It shows class from the kids.  And I respect them..There are to many districts that win and they want to push the coach out even when they are making playoffs every year... It is a shame......

I think 20 4a is more competive. but when you take the top 4 I believe 19 is better. I think Crosby beats Vidor.  BH beats Ozen.  Nederland beats GCM.  I think it comes down to Dayton vs PNG on if it will be another split. Seems like almost every year we argue on who has the best district but it ends up 2-2.

Well I believe they held BH to like 250 total yards of off. The same BH that beat their district champs. I believe they will be ready

If that was the case the Dayton would be considered dirty....  3 late hits against Crosby this year, all on the QB at the end of the game, one helmet to helmet. We got one too. The tackler was in motion 2 yards away, the qb lets go of the ball, and while still in the motion of the tackle hits the qb at the should pads but does not wrap up and the QB never goes down.  Still a flag.  It is considered a late hit.  I would not call that dirty though.

this is great exposure for both team but I was just informed by the kids that they have to be up at the school at 4:15 in the morning so they can tape and make the 5:00 news.  How stupid is that!!  Lets have the band and kids get up at 3:45 on the day of the game.... I don't know if this is a good idea... why not do a tape of everyone at the JV game and then just play it at the 5 am news?  You would get a better turn out and not burn out the kids.

I gave credit to Datyon for playing a good game and winning.. But in IMO Crosby is the better team... lets compare the two in district Total O yds - Crosby wins +349 yards gained Total D yds- Crosby wins -69 yards given up Total O score - Crosby wins +52 points scored Total D score - Crosby wins -8 points allowed ____________________ Ok lets look at the game between the two Total yards - Crosby 430 to Dayton 390 - Fumble lost - Crosby 2 Dayton 0 and for everyone saying the refs were one sided.... Dayton 97 yards Crosby 75 yards.  Looks like they were throwing the flag on both sides of the ball... Crosby beat them in almost every catigory except the one that counts... the score.. I don't know what more to say except I have seen both play more that one game and I feel Crosby is better!!

I really think Crosby will be the toughest team they have played all year.  They are better than Dayton no doubt.  Crosby just shoot themselves in the foot too many times during that game… false start penalties, dropped punt, penalties on 3rd and long to keep the Dayton O on the field to score. . and it still took Dayton a kickoff return and a dropped pass in the end zone at the end of the game to beat them.  The real Crosby team I have seen is what they look like on the first 2 series.. both O and D… Nothing against Dayton but I feel Crosby is the better team… just did not show it… But that is why you play the game… congrats Dayton on the win.. Now 2 factors will affect this game… 1. Will Gage keep in his starters the whole game???  This game does not matter much… they have locked the 1 seed and district champs.. and as they found out last year, lost their QB for the playoffs,  Crosby has a tendency to hit hard every once and a while and Injure some players…  What is his goal… to be undefeated and keep momentum while entering the playoffs or make sure all his players are healthy… 2. How will Crosby react… The lost last week to Dayton may of hurt their pride.. especially to a team they felt they should have beat… will their kids play to the performance they can or will they fold..  yes they would like to win to regain some confidence but they have locked a playoff spot… will Flanigan rest some of his starters.. Well all of these questions will be answered Friday night!!  Good luck to both teams on Friday and the playoffs… Lets all represent 19-4A well in the playoffs!!

I know this is a 20 4A topic but Austin Walters from Crosby in 19 4A has 1166 yards in district and 12 TD's..  Not bad for a Soph...

WOW!!! What a game.. still can't believe it... This game had it all... sloppy D/Errors, Pitching changes/Double switches, big time HR's, extra inn and a walk off to win it in the 11th.. I still can't believe the Rangers were just one strike from winning it TWICE and big bats step up...  the whole game I just keep saying "DID THAT JUST REALLY HAPPEN!!!!" Maybe the best world series game ever even though I did not like the outcome. I hope the Rangers can pull it out but if they don't it just proves that the Cards were destined to win this year after everything they went through to get to the world series..

Crosby is not automatic D1... there is still a chance Dayton will not make the playoffs... if they loose to Crosby and beat CE King then they will be 4-3... that would make a 3 way tie and they could lose on points.. I believe they are -11. Lee could win and beat them on points..  that would make GCM and Lee 1.  ..BH and Crosby 2

Crosby has cliniched a playoff spot already.  even if there is a 3 way tie with Lee, GCM, and Crosby Crosby is +5 Lee is +1 GCM is -6 If GCM only way GCM can gain points is by a win aginst Lee.  A win would not present a 3 way tie.

I think this will be an interesting game which either team could win.  Both teams love to run the ball and control the clock.  Each team my only get 4-6 chances on offense for both teams.  I think it comes down to mistakes.  The team who makes the most loses..
