Yes it is very funny and justified that the LCM coach's sneaky under the table coin flip plan has once again back fired. Now the odds are in favor Of Jasper, big time. It may be costing his team a loss and chance to advance. You should have just played at Lamar days ago and been done with it. Greed.

You have to admit it is funny and ridiculous that any coach would agree to this situation. I do however believe that there should NEVER be a home game for any team in a one game playoff after the first round of playoffs. 3 game series yes- happens all the time but not for a 1 gamer.

Ticket Sales- Here is the way it will work. Come to Gibbons Field at 10 a.m. You will be given either a Maroon or Green card. At exactly 2 p.m. there will be a flip of a coin. If the coin lands Maroon- only Jasper fans get tickets to the game. Green- only LCM fans allowed. This the only fair way to play the game.

It is such a shame that an important area High School baseball game can not be played in a stadium that would hold more than a few hundred people. It never should be a one game home field advantage for ANY team this deep in the playoffs. I don't have a dog in this fight, I don't even care who wins. I am just a high school baseball fan that enjoys watching a good game but I probably will not be able to even get in because of the small amount of seating and standing room. I just think that the UIL would not let this type of thing happen. It is obvious to every single baseball fan that this game should be played at Lamar University. No- Brainer. Coaches and administrators should be ashamed of themselves. These kids deserve better .

This series should be played at Lamar University. Unless there is a scheduling conflict with the University, there should be no reason to go off to the Houston area or even Jasper which has a great field. Stay close to home, pack the stands with family and friends and let the local fans see some great high school baseball while the players enjoy the support.

Happened in LCM vs WOS game today. What is the official ruling on the play in which there is one out runners on second and third. Fly out to the outfield for out two. Runner on third scores and runner on second goes to third. Appeal at second for that runner leaving early and is called out for leaving early but the runner from third to home- run counts. I think that is the correct call but the same exact play happened in the B.C. vs WOS game and the run did not count. What is the right call?

Isn't going to happen because it isn't true. Do the math- it is nothing but a smoke screen. On averages alone, 35 players per year to colleges over 20 year span, 6.5 players a year to MLB in the same period. That is impossible and a flat out lie. But give me the money anyway and trust me.

Time to pay for your dream that will never come true even though the outstanding Coach of the team has a cousin who lived next door to a guy who's brother in law once played baseball at Northwestern New Jersey State College. So of course he knows what it takes to be a great baseball player if you only pay up and trust him.

Who really cares that they have placed over 700 kids in college at a very huge cost to the parents. Every high school in the area can say the same thing. Oh- you must be trying to say that they were all baseball players- Yea right. DREAM ON! Do the math- That means on average you put 35 baseball players a year into college baseball programs (How many D1? if any) . Such a line of B.S. But keep up the used car salesmanship scheme on your parents it does put money in your pocket.

Callumlikeiseeum is exactly right, Its about time somebody told the truth even though you will feel the repercussions from the select coaches. Remember they don't have real jobs and you are threatening their livelihood. These kids are being used by the select coaches as nothing more than a money making scheme. Parents wake up, they don't care about your son or you. All they care about is putting money in their pocket. When and If a young man does actually make it to D1 or better then he claims it was all because of him and his great coaching. He will not tell you about the other 99 out of 100 who did not make it.

Just another mention of the umpires in this game. I will say that they were terrible for both teams. The strike zone was somewhere from another planet. The foul balls and fair balls were missed on three different occasions. I just can not imagine any possible way that these 4 umpires (jv umps and varsity umps) could possibly make it through the TASO group and their demanding requirments to call high school baseball games, much less t-ball games. Once again, neither team benifited from the crazy calls, it was horrible for both teams. Mr. Coit these kids deserve better than the joke that TASO sent to umpire these games.

The only reason that A name was mentioned is because it has been in every local newspaper and on all local tv news stations. I did not throw out a name just by guessing one. So your grip should be with those media people. Why is it so hard for people these days to make a public statement and then stand by it and take ownership of that statement. I think that people are in for a big surprise, WO-S -34 B.C-14. WO-S stats- 250 yards rushing, 2 kick returns for 6. One pick 6. B.C. stats- 3 Fumbles, 2 interseptions. Just too big of a stage for B.C. to handle. Good luck to both teams!
