  1. Lets get ready to rumble- Silsbee round 3 knock out.
  2. If he was as good of a coach that he thinks he is then why does he never win district or advance more than a round of two in the playoffs? He has talent all over the field but can not get them to play as a TEAM.
  3. Bill Forest Houseman- OL 350#- 6'-6" Senior. Sabine Pass
  4. At least his profile picture does not look like a toilet seat. lol
  5. Have you ever heard of sarcasm? I know BISD has had plenty of fine, outstanding crooked administrators. Why not one more?
  6. No I am certain, Rivers was relieved of duties because of many accusations, icluding misapropition of funds, thief, and others. Rojas took over early in the season when Rivers was let go. The perfect fit for BISD
  7. Is that the same Derrick Rivers that coached baseball at WOS and was fired mid season?
  8. This has got to be one of the most ridiculous post of all time. I am a 112% true Mustang fan but it is stuff like this that turns other fan bases against us. Bragging on something that could not and would not ever happen. I really do not understand what your point is. Come to the real world man. Another words- IF my Aunt had nuts, she would be my Uncle.
  9. So exactly what is your point?
  10. Exactly my point. Heck they quit or be thrown off the team for grades or whatever. Get a life.
  11. PLEASE Do not fire Stumblin. He is doing a super job of loosing with tons of talent. He continues to find ways to loose in spite of the talent. Why would any prospect want to go to Aggie?
  12. Great job by the Aggies. Once ranked #4 in the nation for about 4 hours, to loosing pretty much a home Bowl game in Houston. Stumblin coach of the year , keep up the good work. Bet the Big 12 is looking good to ya'll now. SEC- SEC- SEC. If it were not for Prairie View A&M, New Mexico State and UTSA the #4 ranked Aggies would have a loosing record. Gig-em!
  13. Please rename this thread to "My Son (My home-team) 2019 Rankings"
  14. Give me a break- 2019 REALLY? REALLY?
  15. I agree with what you are saying but I am saying it is not a fair level playing field for teams that must travel long distances. Rotating the site is as close to being fair as it can get. I love Cowboy stadium and it is wonderful but I hope it does not turn into a Jerry Jones owned UIL. Heck if you pay attention to Jerry's College kick-off games, It seldom is Texas schools in those games. Why bring in out of state schools like Alabama, Arkansas, LSU ect so they can recruit and steal our Texas top football players. That proves he does not care about Texas high school football- only the All-mighty Dollar. Wake up!
  16. I also have been to championship games at both locations. This is not about atmosphere and the fans, it should be about the teams on the field and making it as level and fair for all teams. It should not be in one location every year.
  17. I believe also that it should be rotated every year (Houston, San Antonio, Dallas). While the attendance records show that Dallas was larger than Houston last year, the thing to keep in mind is where the teams are located in the state. I guarantee that if no Dallas area teams are playing a state championship game in the given year, the attendance numbers will be way down. Same goes for Houston teams if in NRG. It really comes down to a blind draw. Nobody knows at the start of the year which areas of the state will be strong. It is unfair to have teams travel 500 miles to play a team traveling 30 miles every year. Rotate and give each region a fair chance. The UIL should not bow down to Jerry Jones. Remember, last year he screwed up your plans for Cowboy Stadium.
  18. My prediction- Final Score. WOS - 48.26 / Sweetwater - 28.36
  19. Wow someone else noticed that the middle of the field is much larger than the 5 yards on each sideline. I don't remember any passes to a TE all year, much less a slant over the middle. Buechell threw his arm out with 3 games left throwing 25-30 yard sideline passes for 3 yard gains.
  20. There has been a huge amount of respect towards the WOS program on this thread and as a WOS fan and alumni it is very humbling. While many have asked the question of what is the magic formula to the Mustangs success, there really is no simple answer. The things that are important is the Community support and the backing of the parents, school administration and building a disciplined attitude in the players. I believe the young men want to win and not let anyone down, especially their teammates or coaches. They know in order to win they must follow team and school rules, be good students and respect coaches and teachers. These young men also from a young age have a strong desire to wear the silver and blue and be winners on and off the field. Let's go Meet Em.
  21. Is there any chance of a 0-0 Tie?
  22. I think Woodard deserves a raise. I hope he can bring in Charlie Strong to run the defense. Art Briles to run offense and Les Miles to be the clock and game manager.
  23. Maybe not all of my original post came true but I hit the main topic on the head.
