  1. Another stupid post by someone who has no clue about the communities these kids come from.
  2. A coach who hadn’t been employed at NS for even a full year & was running an outside recruiting service on his own. NS has been dominating for 20+ years and never got hit with a recruiting violation lol please stop reaching.
  3. Those news rules won’t stop a thing…promise you lol the rich will continue to get richer!
  4. You missed the part where I said “I know first hand” NS is one of the programs that constantly gets accused of recruiting on this site & I know from experience that doesn’t happen. It ain’t rocket science why the same schools get all the talent…you think it’s because they have the best recruiters on staff? Lol
  5. And yet they still gotta 4 star WR (Farrakhan) to transfer in after this happened…was he recruited? Or did his Dad want his son playing at NS? Lol
  6. I’ve never once accused any schools of recruiting…I know first hand that schools who have a ton of success in recent years don’t have to recruit! Kids are fickle & will flock to these programs because they want to win, get exposure at the highest level & get recruited at the highest level. There’s only a hand full of programs that are doing this consistently so it’s no secret why they have the most talent…this ain’t rocket science. NS had major flaws on both sides of the ball this year…if they were out recruiting you think they wouldn’t have brought in players to fill those voids?
  7. What this gotta do with what’s going on at SOC? Lol where are your facts that SOC is recruiting I’ll wait…
  8. My point is you DON’T KNOW why these kids transferred in & you have no clue if they were “recruited” you’re simply assuming. There are kids that transfer in and out of schools like SOC athletes & non-athletes. That don’t mean they were recruited to the school. Also you have no clue what challenges a family is facing to make them move from one school to SOC, Desoto, DV etc. The Farrakhan kid moved from Grand Oaks to the Woodlands to NS…do you know the real why he left those schools? Or you just going to assume NS recruited him? Lol
  9. And if it isn’t the kid just will just be ineligible for varsity athletics for a year correct? Meaning that they will simply play sub varsity as a freshman & will be eligible the following year.
  10. NS athletes are dealing with the same dynamics as the ones at SOC…and to say kids won’t do anything after football because they come from SOC is just stupid
  11. Not at all…kids will just come to these programs earlier. As freshman or go to the middle school feeders! Won’t stop anything at all
  12. Bingo…they really don’t understand how this stuff works at all.
  13. You ain’t mentioned not one fact, you’re claiming SOC is cheating & recruiting with no facts to support it. Every kid that plays for SOC has been cleared by the respective committee to participate. You said parents aren’t moving their kids to SOC/DISD for educational purposes another opinion lol let that hurt go tell PNG to open up their enrollment if not keep dealing with losing to the inner city schools with open enrollment.
  14. You’re so misinformed 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 And my point still remains you have no clue what these kids are doing once they leave SOC or any of these other schools.
  15. this past weekend I just attended my former player’s graduation (Shadrach Banks) who graduated from TCU. A kid who was homeless in HS & is the first person in his family to graduate. He used football as a way out…also there was a few other kids who attended NS that graduated this weekend as well. You have no clue what majority of kids are doing once they’re done playing football. Again y’all be so misinformed. Stop complaining about open enrollment & tell the school district you root for to change their policies…
  16. No Coach Todd has built a program that kids want to play for! Look at Skyline before & after he left. Kids want to play for the best teams, it happens at every level.
  17. Most of the kids we’re referring to wouldn’t attend college if they didn’t play their respective sport. So yes parents are going to prioritize athletics over education. Whether you agree or not there’s a difference in “culture” in these communities that you wouldn’t understand. Furthermore do you really think with the success these teams have had that these coaches have to go out & recruit players? Lol Samples is an icon in the DFW parents want their kids to play for him. Same thing at NS, if you live remotely close to NS you wouldn’t send your kid there if he was a stud in football? This is common sense.
  18. Yup, more students=attendance money from the state.
  19. A kid don't have to establish residency in an open enrollment school district...if the kid doesn't live in the district, they simply are ineligible for varsity athletics for a calendar year.
  20. A totally different culture that you probably don't understand...some kids only way out is athletics not education my brother. So parents are going to increase their kids chances by putting them in the best position to succeed athletically.
  21. BISD & PA only I believe...maybe WOS too
  22. Difference between your son and the kids who are at the likes of DV, NS, SOC etc...they are bonafide bluechips. And parents will do what's necessary to ensure their kid has the best chance to be successful in athletics. Nothing wrong with a parent doing what's best for their child. For those complaining about open enrollment, that just means the higher ups at the school you root for could care less about athletics or they could easily make the district an open enrollment district like the others. Simple simple solution...
