That drives me crazy when these kids don’t wrap up. They’ll make a big hit with their shoulder and the runner will bounce off them and keep running sometimes.

What l’ve noticed at the successful school districts….everyone is on board with doing what they can to help the kids win in life. From the superintendent, principals, teachers, coaches and so on communication is key. The community as a whole expects the best and the students know what is expected of them. The kids actually want to be there and the parents are active. Acting up at school can get you removed from the school or even district. When they vote for certain things regarding money the community is ok with raising taxes to get better facilities, stadiums, and buildings for the kids. Teachers are also paid good so they’ll want to be there. This makes it more appealing to those top notch coaches that may be interested.

You can never count Aledo out. Been having a good program for a long time now. Good coaching staff, good fan base, and kids never give up.

I knew King was going to win this time… l’ve watched Allen in person last couple years and they have fallen off.

I saw that and l’m happy for them. They just have to keep playing like they belong in the top five week in and out. Didn’t Longview dropped one spot.

I’m glad that PAM won but l definitely understand the frustration of the fans. After joining three schools one would have thought they would have made a few title runs by now. Loaded with talent year in and out. The problem is it’s dam near impossible to get a legit coach to go to Paisd. Nothing against Morgan (my teammate in high school) but you really have to take advantage of the weapons you have. Until then they will continue to get knocked out the playoffs.
