Unfortunately, scrimmages mean literally nothing. Did they have starters out too? Try again son.
Unfortunately the guy I'm talking to is actually talking about that scrimmage and no they did not have 6 or 7 starters out with COVID

I was there, & I’m an Orangefield fan lol LCM outplayed us
What? We had multiple starters out and still tied them in a scrimmage lol

No that's what I'm trying to tell people but they want to call this coach racist he's not racist by a long shot I been under this coach for 4years and all this coach has show me nothing but love
there are some things I know, but I can't post in here, they do not know the full story and neither do I, but he is definitely not an angel after being kicked off the team more than once before

In other news Orangefield somehow beat Silsbee 16-14… What in the world is up with OF don’t they usually struggle with BC and get destroyed by WOS on a yearly basis? Vidor needs to be playing OF and BC every year instead of BP and BC.

Orangefield is not nor ever has... give or take maybe a few years... been on same level as lcm and I thought the thread stated 10-4a-1?
not to mention after LCM did not have the best year last year that's a bold statement

they were talking about OF and LCM, but how are they not on the same level as them this year?

I've watched 2 WOS games this year. 1st was against LCM, 2nd was against newton. The LCM vs WOS score is misleading. WOS did not play near their potential, very sloppy tackling and a ton of penalties. The WOS looked more like more WOS against Newton. Maybe WOS played down to their competition...IDK. OR it could be that LCM is that much improved.
Though the coaches at LCM are very talented, I don't think they're turning things around in one year and beating Jasper, just my personal opinion though.

I’ve seen Lumberton, LCM, Livingston, & Vidor in person. Haven’t seen HH so I won’t comment on that, but LCM & Vidor will both beat Livingston, OF outplayed Livingston IMO despite the last second loss. LCM beat OF pretty soundly in their scrimmage & is much more physically impressive. Lumberton has no chance, way too slow & not nearly physical enough. Also watched Splendora play HF & wasn’t all that impressed. So I’m conceding that HH will be in the playoffs, but the next three teams in my opinion based off watching them in person is Vidor, LCM, Livingston, in that order.
LCM tied OF in a scrimmage and OF had 6 starters out with COVID.

Not sure about Dodd. He didn't play much in the 2nd half from listening to the game. Hope he is good to go. Silsbee needs his help running the ball for sure. Has he started to get any offers?

From what I heard is that they thought he did something to his collarbone but he bruised something in his knee and gales is out with a hamstring injury.

Idk. It could be a close one, but I think Orangefield beats Silsbee.
What do you mean?

I mean they may upset us because we haven’t beat them in like 4 years. They have some injury issues right now but if they are fully healthy they will be tough this year… That QB they have is pretty solid
they had a good receiver #15 last year that tore us up.

I don’t think the WOS Qb kid quit. But that’s another story
I have no clue what happened with the qb, if it had something to do with family or something idk

Oh I forgot about BC. But I’m sure that will be a easy win. I think it’s going to come down between WOS and OF for the DC. If you slip up on a game that Silsbee wins that could cause problems. You really want to be #1 or #3. I believe if you are 2 in district you will get Carthage in the 2nd round. Let it be noted in the past Carthage does not do well with slot t teams atleast the ones against Liberty Hill.
Bridge City lost 33-0 to Anahuac and no disrespect to Anahuac but we took our starters out at half time and beat them 49-13 I believe. BC should be a easy win. The guys at OF know that WOS is down right now I believe with 5 starters going out last night and their qb quitting. I ensure you OF will try their hardest to win against WOS. Also hopefully OF keeps focus and doesn't slip up and takes it one week at a time.

There were several things during this game that kept the score marginal. The Bobcat offense was solid. Took advantage of every opportunity that was given. Along with their motivation it was a good game to watch.
That is how you win football games. Capitalizing on opportunities. Silsbee did not perform well in second half by a long way. It is definitely a concern down the road if they plan on turning the season around to try and make a run..
It was a great win by Orangefield and definitely pits this district on notice to not take any team lightly.
Jmo
OF was very hyped up for that game and they knew that they had to win it for district, the seniors on OF stepped up and kept the pace up the whole game. I'm not sure what is going on with Silsbee, I've heard it was conditioning or coaching but im not sure.

Anyone know how good Liberty is? I believe y’all beat HJ and HF. I think WOS will be a game y’all need to win for the DC. Y’all will be fighting for that 1 and 2 spot. Silsbee not out of being at the top
OF was struggling last year on offense mostly, but they're back with special players on both offense and defense. Dischler the halfback can make plays and so can their big running back ashworth.

Silsbee has a lot of talent. Just a lot of mistakes going on. OF has a lot of experience this year and it's showing. They lost to Livingston and their defensive coverage was not doing very hot that night, but I've watched the film on Liberty and in my opinion they will not beat OF nor Silsbee, but we never know. They lost that big running back from last year I think from what I've seen and I don't see much size on their team. They got beat 28-0 by a good Huffman team. They also beat Diboll 14-7, but OF will be playing them at their place on their homecoming. Liberty runs a slot t and OF is good at stopping the run, especially last year when they ran the 4-3 defense.

If they win the rest of their games they will be district champs.
Ah I understand now, I did not mean to come off cocky or anything.

No.
What if Orangefield were to lose their remaining games?
No position in district is "ensured" after one game.
Well I know that, but I meant If they won the rest of the games assuming that Silsbee and WOS being their most difficult games for district.
