Kirbyville will try to play Shepherd on their open date unless Shepherd finds a game this week.
Shepherd will play Diboll.

Shepherd has replaced Newton.

Looks like Newton dropped out of this game.

Kevon’s mother posted on Facebook that he had a concussion and swelling and bleeding behind one eye that will require surgery next week. There was no bleeding on the brain and no bone fractures. They are giving him medication to help him sleep at night.
what happened on the play?

There is evidently a bee UIL rule that is a judgement call and will be unevenly enforced. Bands can’t play if the other team can’t hear. They evidently forgot that band is there to support and that crowd noise is part of the game. The game I was at one band was “too loud”. If anyone else sees this happen this year please post.
NCAA rule.

Does Diboll have anything besides a new turf field?

Sounds like those guys need to be sent out there with a shovel and a load of dirt and start fixing what they messed up. Preferably during the noon-4pm hours. 😈
you can't do that anymore.
someone will get offended.

Look, I was being a smart (insert body part here). His last gig he was the OC in football and head coach in Golf. Lumberton kept true to form by hiring (in my very humble but well informed opinion) not necessarily the best guy for the job. So, yeah, I’m throwing a few daggers.
Some Bio:“In 20 years of coaching, Reyes has been the Offensive Coordinator at Nacogdoches High School, Midlothian High School, McKinney High School, Northwest High School, and the OC at Center High School. He has also been the head track coach and head Golf Coach at Nacogdoches High School and Center High School.”
okay i thought you was talking about the coach who came in from HF to coach baseball.

It’s my understanding that Lumberton’s new baseball coach, wait sorry, new head football coach is not playing a single starter both ways. If you have the personnel to do that - go for it. But if you’re a team that struggles to win, like Lumberton last year, then don’t you agree that you should start your best 11 on all 3 components of the game and sub in when they need rest? I’m not just speaking for Lumberton, they’re my unfortunate example.
did the new baseball coach get promoted already?

Strange to give up a AD job to be a assistant.

You’re exactly right. It’s not just the coaches that make up a successful program. Parents play a huge role in the athletics program. But let me just add, the community is also a very important factor. It takes an entire culture dedicated to building up kids and believing in the program to turn things around. Even through the toughest of times, and the worst games the community should be determined to show up, stay (even when they are losing) and continue to stand by the kids and coaches no matter what the outcome is in the short term. Eventually, the mindset WILL change and results will be inevitable. Great athletes believe in themselves to constantly improve. As a community member, I am purposing to promote this belief for these young athletes and this new coach by showing my support.
Only good things are happening in Warren! So proud of the growth mindset that our admin, decision makers, school board members and stakeholders have. Change is inevitable for any district, and it’s a necessary evil.
I for one, am ready to embrace the vision and support our Warrior Nation.Looks like the "Coach" has found the local sports forum.

Is Willams retiring or taking a NON UIL job.

Warren should have a pretty solid baseball team year in and year out. They seemed to have underachieved since Coach Wofford left a few years ago.
How many coaches have they gone through since Wofford left?
Billy Bryant
VJ Bunner
Jeremy Hogan
Zane Anderson
I feel like i am missing someone....

Depends on who you root for…😀
United 2146 kids
Warren 361 kids
Warren would beat United 2 out of 3 times with 1/6th the kids to choose from.

There are a high school summer and fall leagues.
This has been going on for at least 10 years that i know of. The dads who think they are better coaches than the high school coach normally run those teams.
