Yes. Not sure why Maxpreps has them at 6-7. They have won more games than that for sure. The string of losses they had early in the season was against 5A and 6A teams in a really tough tournament. They swept Nederland who is ranked on that list. If they were considered part of that area they are definitely one of the better teams.

Nope completely accurate. I could write a novel about HOW it's accurate. There is no story to come out to justify your perspective. The truth was on display for everyone in the gym to watch. An out of control kid throwing 12 unprovoked punches at an innocent opponent. Why wasn't it broken up sooner you ask? Well because the on duty cops were in the parking lot dealing with the another player's dad who's been a cancer to the team after he got into an altercation with one the coaches at halftime. The whole thing has been a huge embarrassment to Huffman.

Not too sure about the hangover part. Honestly these teams are pretty evenly matched and throw Hamshire Fannett in there as well. None of these teams have established themselves as truly dominant and I can't see anyone making it to the 3rd round. HJ is a little better than the rest, but nothing like they have been in the past.

The back story is two players parents have made it miserable for the entire squad and ruined what should have been another run to the 3rd or 4th round.

Huffman's best player is no longer on the team. Another starter and at least 3 more role players quit in her support. I have no idea what transpired and who is right and who is wrong so I won't comment on that but what I will say is Huffman will be no where near what they were last year going forward.

This is true. Huffman's freshmen team this year (which was not just undefeated in middle school they literally beat every team by an average of 45 points) managed to go 8-2 with out their top 8 players. Lost 2 to season ending injuries and 6 to Varsity.

QB is a SR. It's only the 2nd game he has started. Yes you definitely owe me a pic. It's been a recurring theme this year. You can't make those mistakes and expect to win.

Livingston was better than Huffman. However we gift wrapped them 21 points. A blocked punt recovered in the end zone, a trick play out of a timeout (a player appearing to be standing on the sideline catches an uncovered bomb with no one near him), and a snap richocheted off a Huffman WR in motion takes a wicked bounce returned 90 yards for a TD. Yes they were better no doubt. Not 69-34 better.

A bit off topic but I was watching film of the Vidor / Lumberton game and was wondering how the young man from Vidort that hurt his arm is doing. It looked really bad.
