But if you know there is recruiting going on and the evidence isnt hard to find, then it shouldnt be troublesome for you to gather the evidence and present it to the UIL right? Tell those people who are afraid to lose their jobs to email you everything they have and you can send it to [email protected] [email protected] and [email protected]

North Shore got busted for recruiting. Coach got suspended for three years from UIL activities. If more people had actual evidence I'd bet the UIL would continue to hold Coaches/programs accountable. But people don't and casually throw out allegations.

I'd charity bet you $50 that every team in the region final this year is some combination of the teams listed below. Going to add Richland and New Braunfels so there are 4 teams in each region. R1- Denton Ryan, Aledo, Abilene, Richland R2- Highland Park, Lone Star, West Mesquite, Midlothian R3- La Porte, College Station, Angleton, Weiss R4- Smithson Valley, Flour Bluff, Pieper, New Braunfels

This is what I posted on the 5A board earlier today. This is not as fun but I think the regions are going to have a lot of similar teams in the running for state. Region Championship R1- Aledo vs Ryan. Only team I could see upsetting one of these teams is Abilene but even then that would be a long shot. R2- Highland Park vs Frisco Lone Star- hard to see anyone beating either of these teams, although there is a lot of solid depth. Red Oak, Midlothian, Cedar Park, Georgetown, West Mesquite, Burleson Centennial. R3- Good luck here. La Porte should make the regional final and then College Station? Angleton? Weiss? A lot depends on the bracket but this region is absolutely stacked with quality. R4- Reigning Champs Smithson Valley seem like a great pick, now just have to see the other side. Does Flour Bluff have enough? Pieper? Semifinal Denton Ryan vs Highland Park- told yall this wouldnt be as fun. Until someone beats these two in the playoffs, gonna roll with them. La Porte vs Smithson Valley- should be a very physical game. La Porte might have the best runningback in 5A. Final Highland Park vs La Porte- Hard to think HP loses back to back. Give me one of the Mount Rushmore TXHSFB programs for the win! But I will still be cheering for La Porte in this one.

Being unfamiliar with both teams, I discounted both of yall. Figured yall would lose to Pflugerville Weiss (terrible letdown), Lufkin (talked a good game), or one of the Brazos teams. But now, having watched some playoff games, I appreciate the physicality that both of yalls teams have played with. Yall both have certainly earned it. My hats off to ya. I would say I'm cheering for La Porte because orange and black are close to my heart but I'm just hoping for a great game to watch. May the best team win! Good luck and save travels. Hopefully we can get a game in two weeks.

In my bracket challenge on the 5A site I have Weiss making it to state. The potential is there for them. Just about playing a complete game. Do we know if they are streaming the game?

The top half of the R3 bracket is really tough! Lufkin, College Station, Crosby, PAM, Angleton, and Weiss. Good luck!

Aint no easy path in R3 lol! Honestly, this might be the most balanced tournament I can remember region to region. R1 most likely comes down to Aledo/Denton Ryan. R2 Lone Star/ Highland Park/Reedy. R3 A&M/Lufkin/CS/Weiss. R4 Pieper/PSJAN/SV. And none of that counted dark horses like Richland/Midlothian/Georgetown/Angleton/La Porte/Ball/Flour Bluff/New Braunfels/Vela. Then complete wildcards like Abilene/Cedar Park/Lake Belton/West Mesquite/Red Oak/Barbers Hill/ SA Southwest/ CCVM. Going to be really fun! Cant wait!

A couple of unofficial notes: - Amarillo and Tascosa play each other. If Tascosa wins then Monterey moves into 2nd place, Tascosa 3rd and Amarillo 4th. - Reedy and Lone Star are playing for the district championship. Winner will avoid Highland Park until the 4th round. - Newman Smith and Creekview are playing for 2nd and 3rd place. Winner will get to host a playoff game!! - Midlothian and Highland Park are playing for a district championship!! - Waltrip and Sterling play each other week 11. If Waltrip wins- 1. Waltrip 2. Galena Park 3. Sterling. If Sterling wins 1. Galena Park 2. Sterling 3. Waltrip. Best guess. - At first glance it looks like D13 has 4 teams playing for the final playoff spot (3-3 Seguin, 2-4 Wagner, 2-4 Victoria East, 2-4 Boerne-Champion). After looking at the schedule Seguin plays the last place 0-6 MacArthur team. So most likely Seguin locks up the last playoff spot. - The playoffs start a week early for Harlingen South and Weslaco East!! They play each other for the final playoff spot. Love the win and get in games!! - Four teams playing for the final two spots (All are 3-3): Mission, McAllen, Rowe, Palmview. Mission plays the last play Juarez- Lincoln team so lets say they win and get in. Final spot will come down to the McAllen vs Rowe game. Winner of that game most likely gets in unless Palmview can upset McAllen Memorial. Then things get crazy.
