He actually has coached ALL sports and he is a basketball guy. That’s the sport he played in college. He will be a good fit.

What I said is the words are different. The ending with a takes a totally different meaning than Er. Somehow those with no understanding of the culture always seem to find a reason to relate the two.  So since you don’t understand. Let me explain. N with an a  means my friend or homie. N with an Er is Derogatory and is what non blacks use to degrade people of color.

Once again. There is no understanding to the use of the word. What they call each other is very different to what others call them.  The two words are different. (1) they are spelled differently and the meaning is different.

IMO to have any chance at disrupting Carthage’s offense you have to get pressure on the QB. And get pressure without putting your secondary in a bad position. That’s easier said then done, but if you get pressure on the QB he might make a mistake or 2. If he has time to sit back and pick you apart it’s going to be a very long night for any teams in 4a.

There isn’t freshman in the secondary.

I can agree with that in a sense. But if you can’t stop them what’s the point. A good defense don’t give up many points. And those are the teams that win games. The most points carthage has Given up all year is to Jasper with 18 but they didn’t score but 35. Yes putting up points runs the score board defense is the key. 

Defense is the key for Silsbee to even come close to winning this game. It’s evident they can score. There has been improvement with Gilder. Defense wins championships.
