But I was talking to a friend of mine tonight ( he played for Brenham when they they was making noise back in the 2000's) and he looked at yall's scrimmage tonight and he was like y'all looking like the new Carthage out there right now (time will tell about that notion).

Yea because if we're going to be good this year then Diboll and Woodville is my only concern but then again if we had the games shake up in district like last year then it will be a fun ride just as long as we get in this time.

How did that one go I'm very curious... Is WOS back on track with one of the good teams in 3A-D1 or is Woodville not looking good right now?

What it's going to take to get you to one of these Coldspring vs Shepherd games one season? Outside of last season they have been pretty good for the most part.

I remember those but never had one at the game I always get those when the county fair comes around.

The frito pie has always been the best thing coming out of our concession stand.

Isn't Woodville "supposed to be down" this year?

If we're thinking the same thing then you're definitely right because I definitely don't have my own team winning district but then again they beat Diboll in a nail biter 20-19 last season the most significant win we had but just to turn around and lose to Shepherd like we did I would have it like this: 1. Woodville 2. and 3. Coldspring/Diboll 4. Shepherd/Westwood

Not one player can make a team... That being said I agree with you for most of your statement.

In District 9 I have Coldspring, Diboll, and Woodville as the favorites that can either be 1,2, or 3. Shepherd, Westwood and Crockett will battle for the 4th spot. In District 10 I would definitely keep Anahuac as district champs but I would switch Orangefield and East Chambers. Tarkington may surprise this year as I have them and Buna battle for 4th.

Of course I do... I'm not the only person that is saying that around our area but hey we will see this season an hopefully I'm proven wrong that's something I'm willing to admit.
