1.
Newton will be D1.....have to see if Dangerfield is still D2, maybe they won't meet up this year.
daingerfield is D1 as of the last realignment. no wait and see anymore in 2a
 2. this kirbyville team went to an overtime game with wo-s last year.  would u be saying the same thing about wo-s if they were playing vidor?
 3. Kirbyville doesn't play too many players both ways.  a few recievers/db's play both ways, but that's about it.
 4. i think the battle for #2 will make for an interesting season.  should be fun keeping up with, and frustrating as heck for the fans week to week.
 5. [Hidden Content] Not only do they totally snub Fred Ford, but they erroneously put on there that Jarman Johnson from Pilot Point had a "game high 398 yards" in the title game.  I don't normally give much of a thought for these "all-state teams" but i'm sorry, thats a load of garbage.
 6.
Isn't Kville losing a starting RB and star safety, or am I confused about that?
they're not losing either of those
 7.
I was at the Kirby game in San Marcos and I do not think it had anything to to do with the spread. PP executed very well and did not turn the ball over. PP made a couple of plays on 3rd down that if Kirby had stopped them it could have been different. Ford should be a very highly sought out recruit next year. PP was just the better team that day. I look for Kirby to make that trip again next year.
agreed

i said a few weeks ago next year is THE year. i would not want to schedule kville next year if i was a coach in SETX unless its WOS.
Is this because WOS brings their own refs ? I think even they may shy away from playing Kville.
WOS, as like Kville, has a lot coming back and coming up from JV. I think WOS is the only small school next year that can even hang with Kville. IMO
heard you might find out about that small school thing next year week 1.
what did you hear JJ?
 9. call me old school, but i can't stand the spread.  The way pilot point ran it was alright i guess, but most of the time i can't stand watching it.  it's effective though, because you have so many options.  you have to be good at every level and position on defense cuz it will expose every weakness you have.
 10. No, Kirbyville didn't "stop" PP's offense, but this season, they did a better job defending spread offenses than last year. PP wasn't the first spread team Kville played this year, they were just the best one.  Just look at what PP did all season to teams in region II that are used to defending the spread.
 11. Kirbyville defended the spread a lot better this year than last.

 13.

For Kville, I would like to see these matchups... 1. Jasper (of course) 2. Coldspring 3. WOS 4. Silsbee We have competed with all of these at one time or another and I have to say competed VERY WELL... beat all but 1...WOS..we're out to get them this year though! Hopefully this game will be on our HOME turf this year if played.
nice matchups kvillefan1992 i would also like to see kirbyville play anahuac in the pre district schedule
Anahuac could very well be in our district next year
 14.
Finally made it to Austin about 20 mins ago.  Can't wait for tomorrow...Got word that the boys had a great week, good trip and practice at Bobcat Stadium today.  Word is that they are FOCUSED! wowzer99, i agree with what you said 100%! Everyone traveling tomorrow have a safe trip.  I be looking down for all of you tomorrow!  Just might see me checking out the turf before the game too! ;)
see you at the game man.  it's gonna be fun!~!
 15. this game is going to be won in the second half.  I believe the wildcats will have their first state championship come this time tomorrow
 16. having him back for this playoff run has been huge.  they missed him tons last year when he was injured
 17. going back to last year's title game loss and all throughout this season, this is a more hardened and tested team.  their mentally tough, and experienced and that's the difference with this team that can take them over the top I believe
 18.
U know for yall saying arp is overrated...kville got beat by arp every where but the scoreboard last night.
ok that's not the stupidest comment i've ever seen on here, but it's probably in the top 5  ::)
