1.
yeah, he is good. That was one heck of a ball game. a little nervous in the begining, but wow how about that defense. Holding an OU commit to 50yds, and OU doesn't just go after any kid off the street.  Great great job on both sides of the ball(except for a few turnovers in the begining).  Very bright future for the Cats as well, will be returning a lot of starters next year.
he's actually an Oklahoma State commit i think.  either way
 2. it would be an upset for the ages if EC wins this game, and i for one, would LOVE for that to happen!  can you just imagine the d-field reaction if the bucs beat them?  then again, i'd like to see newton be able to get another chance at them after the basketball incident last year.  so, i'll reluctantly pick daingerfield.  :-\  but still, GO BUCS!
 3.

Umm...not sure!  Apparently we were a lot better than Kville thought, and if we had won what would the wildcats predict for us against Arp?  With that being said... Kirbyville -- 30 Arp -- 14
No offense to Anuhuac but K-ville didnt really open up the playbook tonite. Just ran basic plays so we wouldn't show to much for the next opponent. Defense played soild, didn't take Alverez to go deep in playbook.
whoah, don't say that! cuz i said pretty much the same thing in another thread and some folks did take offense.
 4. hey now, i never said anything against anahuac.  those boys played hard and deserve props.  but kirbyville ran just a few different running plays against 8-9 panther defenders in the box for most of the game.  anahuac played tough for sure, especially on the d-line, but in the end they we're just outmanned.  i couldn't say why anahuac only ran 2 or 3 plays, but that's on them.  some of you guys see things in comments on here that just aren't there, and aren't intended.
 5.
I watched the game and the kirbyville that showed up tonight was not the kirbyville that played against newton buddy.  we played horriblbly flat on offense.  we ran what seemed to be only five or six different plays all night over and over.  anahuac doesn't have the speed we have either if they did it would have been closer. great game panthers, maybe next time. ;)
exactly.  didn't wanna show their hand and give that scout in maroon too much to write about.  this game worked out perfectly for kirbyville.
 6.
Rollin how does the reserved seating go for this game?Is it take em as you get there?
should be general admission.  playoff games always are right?
 7. LeFrederick Ford's 80 yard td run as time expired on the first half.  what a huge play
 8. i was at the klein/lufkin game.  lufkin didnt come to play till the 4th quarter. they threw a lot of passes into tight coverage. i think they underestimated klein's defense.
 9. you're probably right.  hey i'm not knockin' the kid, i think he's one of the best rb's in the state.  probably kville's best rb since butch hadnot.  i'm just saying.  who gave me negative karma?  lame  >:(
 10.
Coach Barbay can bring his lawn chair and sit down on the sidelines in this one. ;D Newton 50-0
yeah, but he won't do that.  he'll still be pacing the sidelines with that yellow sheet of paper in his hands, while newton roll's all over buna.
 11.

Ford is such a talented runner.  just wish he would quit fumbling so much
Man if you had seen the way the those boys from CC were attacking him you would understand..they werent trying to tackle him, their job was to get that ball, and they did, several times..lol The kids played a good game tonight, sloppy at first, but held on for the Win..thats all matters. Oh...and OMG bout the Muleshoe game, I CANT believe they LOST!!!! Wow
i know, but he's been having problems fumbling most of the season.  you think other teams won't have that same strategy?
 12. 21-3a is a strong district still.  a down year yeah, but coldsprings is a tough, well coached team.  to say that 21-3a is weak is belittling coldsprings which i think is a mistake.  look, there's been a lot of parody in high school football this year.  corrigan-camden beat coldsprings 35-20, WO-S beat kirbyville 21-20 and kirbyville beat Corrigan-Camden 51-28.  this has been an unpredictable football season in many respects.  to say that district 21-3a is weak sounds to me like a weak statement by someone who hasn't put much thought into what they're saying.
 13. fantastic! heck of a job woodville!  :D
 14.
Wowzer I see 1 of them at home in round 3 and that's your team.
nah man, EC vs. woodville will be close but i think kirbyville will take care of anahuac in stride.
 15.
I'm feelin a lil crazy so I'm gonna go with our neighbors the AP by 3.
more than a little crazy.  that being said, the first round of the playoffs statewide, there have been some crazy results
