Suratt will be retiring after his son graduates in three years.

Agreed, normally it is related to football and you dont attack their community.

Yep, you are "entitled to your opinion" as is, everyone else to be "entitled to their opinion about your opinion". If you want open your mouth, you can do so and alienate any fan base you choose. There are many who would like to enjoy a sport without the introduction of political narratives. PNG doesnt need to do anything other, "keep being a treasure to HS Football in SETX".

Just curious about this observation that I have argued to the contrary on this forum but I am beginning to have a different perspective. I does seem to be an advantage to have the State Championship game as a home game each year. Is it settled that the State Championship games will be in AT&T forever from this point forward?

Understood. Do the coaches in Vidor just not know as much as the fans? or do they intentionally lose? I have seen scenarios where the fans are the true experts of the community while the coaches who see the players in practice everyday and during workouts for the entire year generally do not know much.

After "you know what" this season, they will continue to say it. Prepare for more of the same for the next three years.

Yes.

So, Do Vidor folks seek "bad coaches"? Do they screen the good ones out during the interview?

What is Aledo's enrollment?

Not sure, but I will be there. We are driving up Saturday morning.

Agreed, they had a good showing for the first year in 5AD1. I wonder if they were among the larger schools in the division?

Trying to get some information. Has Aledo been in 5AD1 the same amount of time as Crosby? They seem like they may have had a better adjustment period than Crosby.

Guess I will be pulling for Aledo next weekend. I plan to be at the game.

Getting close to the win! You know I am here supporting you.

PNG is a perfect "real-time" example of what happens when a Coach implements an effective scheme game plan, combined with a group of players who buy in and commit to executing what they have been coached. PNG has progressed every week throughout the year and has become a completely different team than what started in August. PNG coaches put a plan together for each week and the PNG players embrace and execute the game plan each week regardless of who the opponent is and what the narrative may be. PNG are definitely a team that is easy to pull for.

No reason to doubt now. Might as well go ahead and beat SOC.

LOL

Carthage easily. No need to even discuss Carthage for the remainder of the year. Could have handed them the trophy at the beginning of the season. There is a slight chance they lose a game next year, but go ahead and give them the trophies for 2024 and 2025 now as well.

PNG OL was the difference in the game. Wore out the FBM more athletic DL.

Of course.

Was able to attend this game. Was pretty impressed with PNG fanbase and the PNG focus/intensity.

Would not bother me if they hung 150 on Huffman.

They are not "beatable" for Aledo.

Sit tight. Clarity is on the horizon. What we see from time to time is that inferior teams display the ability to be competitive for a few minutes but once the game settles in the superior team pulls away from the inferior. Hopefully Aledo can win this week and you will get experience first-hand what PAM and Crosby experienced. Should be a good educational opportunity.

You will have more insight when LV stomps Aledo next week (provided Aledo can win this week).
