Dick Vitale (of Ozen?) calling BH girls classless? Have you attended any of Ozens' sporting events? Really? What a joke! Someone hit the nail on the head when they mentioned "traveling circus".

I made the Clear Falls game but couldn't make the game with Ozen today. I would have loved to have heard the crowd from both sides! Congratulations to the BH girls on a fine season. Ozen had a very good team and a great season also. Good luck in Austin Lady Eagles! I hope to be able to go.

There's no need to brag on Bronco Football, its success speaks for itself. One thing for sure, the District just got a lot more competitive with some very good schools coming in. I'm hoping for continued success and may no one suffer serious injury.

The goal of an offense is to score more points than their opponent scores. A good defense should be able to shut or slow down any type of offense, including the spread. The talent the coach has to work with usually determines what type of offense they run. I prefer a team to be able to operate more than one type of offense. After all is said and done, the team with the best coaching, the most talent, the desire to win, fewest key injuries, and a lot of luck usually wins, no matter what schemes they run on offense or defense.

Congratulations and good luck to Manvel. There is no shame in losing to a far superior team. Manvel made adjustments after the first drive and the Broncos did not. Our defense put up a great effort but were on the field most of the night against a big, fast, deep, and talented offense. I would have liked to seen less sideline to sideline running on the kick off return team, slow developing runs around the ends, deep drop backs by the qb, and more quick release down passing field routes with roll-outs by the qb. Less game watching and more blocking by some of the receivers. Still a great season by the Broncos and congratulations to all the Broncos and the new coaching staff, especially the Seniors who gave us fans many reasons to be proud of them!

I saw Manvel last year beat a very good PNG team and saw the game they lost to LaMarque. I have never seen so many good players on one team and most of them were underclassmen. Dayton will have to play a great game to stay in it, but it can be done! Always Believe. Go Broncos!

Terrible officiating but both teams struggled through it. Crosby twins looked good. I did not like the Crosby players attempts to bait the Broncos into personal fouls, not a necessary part of the game. Congratulations to the Broncos on a great effort and never giving up!

Congratulations to the Broncos for playing a much improved game. Definitely a much better effort. Keep working hard and tackle like there is no tomorrow! Shock Crosby to the core.

I'm sorry, I still don't see where the rule "apply's". Too many secrets in Bronco Land. I support the Broncos and I hope things turn around for them, but it is not looking too good for them this year!

Was Reyes on the sideline Friday night? And why didn't Gamal start or get many touches?

I don't really care about which Bronco team had the best secondary at this point. The defense this year needs work in all areas, although the secondary does look pretty good. The tackling in the first half was atrocious. The defense stepped it up in the second half and played much better. Our opponents are not going to lay down just because they are playing the Broncos. If their are character issues on this team, they better get addressed quickly. There are many good teams out there that are hungry for success and would love to humble the Broncos. I fully support the Broncos but the time has come for commitment to be the best they can be to happen.

Congratulations to the Barbers Hill Eagles! The Dayton Broncos were both outplayed and out coached. We could not stop the runs to the outside. Great tackling by the Eagles. The Broncos just need to go back to work and take care of the rest of the season. We have some good young men who can get the job done!

I like the way the Broncos are encouraging and congratulating each other. They seem to be coming together as a team with good chemistry. Fine tune the running game and the run defense and you will be ready for the many good teams to come your way in the playoffs. Go Broncos! 

The light, it hurts my eyes!

Elkins still has Mathews sp? (D1) at center so it may be hard to pressure their QB Burkhalter (same as last Year). The Broncos will have to come out with fire in their bellies to hang with this very good 5-A team. As always, I'm with the Broncos!

Bronco defense was porous and looks to need some leadership. Maybe that will come as the season progresses. The offense looked pretty good and only ran a few basic plays. There were a few dropped passes that should have been caught and an obviously tired McBride was injured toward the end of the scrimmage. I hope he is ok! The Broncos are smaller than usual this year but should be ready to make another playoff run.   Nederland has good size and should have a good year.
