I do not like the Alamo Dome for the State Tournament. The seating is too small and uncomfortable and open space with little backdrop behind the goal seems to affect the shooting. There are better venues for the tournament, in my opinion.

You missed the point. A spade or a dumb*ss neither one is an ethnic group, but Cajun is, and a coonass is a derogatory term referring to a Cajun. Since the poster said he calls it like it is, I wondered what other derogatory terms he might use to describe other ethnic groups. All this aside, I hope Nederland gets everything it is asking for in the bond issue.

I have watched Barbers Hill play a few games and they have lost some, but after graduating all of their starters from last years team, they have put together a young and competitive team.

Not taking anything away from a good Santa Fe team and victory, but turnovers killed a gritty effort by the Broncos. Lots of heart, never give up attitude, and a great effort shown by the Broncos last night!

Pitiful excuse for a high school football field. I hope they at least spray for mosquitoes. As someone stated in a prior post, a little drainage work would go a long way.
