Teams look to be pretty evenly matched and game could go either way. Ozen and Barbers Hill are always competitive. -

This is just my opinion and everybody has one, but I think Nations needs to look long and hard at his staff and determine if any improvements can be made. I have been a fan of the Broncos since 1994 and will continue to be one in the future.

BH 78 - Pearland Dawson 48 -
I agree with a previous post about the o-line play, it looks like the Broncos are using a different blocking scheme this year and it is not working. We have a good QB in #4, good running backs, and several good receivers, the offense should be rolling. NC saw some areas of weakness on defense and exploited them. Defense looks to be poorly prepared to stop their opponent each week. Good luck to the Broncos the rest of the season.

Dayton Broncos at Humble Wildcats
Bronco/Cat Fan replied to Bronco94's topic in High School Football
How long is the starting Qb out for and are they moving up the JV Qb for back-up? I think Dayton will win this one and keep the playoff string going. -
Broncos were totally dismantled by a Splendora team that must not have been told they were supposed to lose. Broncos were in total disarray. After the starting Qb for Dayton went out, it was apparent there was a lack of preparation with the backup. It will be an uphill climb for the Broncos from here, lets see if the staff has any answers. Out played and out coached.

A little sloppy with too many dropped balls and a porous offensive line, but its early. Good news is the Broncos have more depth with quality athletes and are being led by an enthusiastic coaching staff. Looking for good things this season from the Broncos! -
I hope they spray for mosquitoes this year! Last time there, the Broncos won the game but I lost the battle with the mosquitoes. No Zika!
-
Also noticed Quinn Wood is listed as DC. Did he hold that title last year?

Bryan Rudder 78 Barbers Hill 77/Final
Bronco/Cat Fan replied to MHSBulldogs's topic in High School Girls Basketball
I do not think nor did I state turnovers were the primary reason BH lost to Rudder. There a numerous things you could point to including who comes into the game off the bench at particular times and others you have pointed out.I would think that those issues will be worked on. I am just a fan who enjoys watching the game, not a coach. I have attended a lot of the Lady Eagles games since around '96 and followed them in the paper some before that. I hope they have even greater success in the future, as I'm sure you do too.. . -
Bryan Rudder 78 Barbers Hill 77/Final
Bronco/Cat Fan replied to MHSBulldogs's topic in High School Girls Basketball
The difference between last year and this year was very evident. The emergence of the young players and their confident play was a pleasure to watch. Of course, Charli's growth as a player was evident also. The next two years for them should be very exciting. There is always room for improvement and I hope to see fewer turnovers and more contested three point attempts, but again congratulations on a great season to all involved with the Barbers Hill Lady Eagles.. -

Rudder shot lights out and played a good overall game. Congratulations to them. The six point turnaround at the end of the third hurt Barbers Hill, but they were in the game all the way. Congratulations to the Eagles on a great season. -

Does Cleveland have a gym with the seating capacity to handle the playoff crowd? It has been a number of years since I have attended a game there. -
North Shore 56 Clear Falls 30/Final

Don't remember the score, but North Shore won big over Clear Falls. Game was played in Phillips prior to Barbers Hill and George Ranch.
