The Broncos are losing 35 seniors from last years squad who were experienced and talented, and as we all know went 4-6. This year there are a lot less seniors and a few underclassmen who made the varsity or were brought up during the season. The porous defense from last year has to be much improved if we are to be in the playoff picture, not to mention better offensive line play overall. I saw a very good JV squad play a number of games last year and I hope that exceptional talent translates well on the varsity level the next two years.

I totally agree with all of your comments Hoopster. Old School's assertion that it is possible to double/triple down on the post and still recover to effectively defend the perimeter etc. is true, it is not probable do it consistantly against a good outside shooting team like BH.

Outstanding record, almost unbelievable! Barbers Hill also puts a very good team on the floor year in and year out and this year is no exception. This should be a great game! Go Eagles!

Teams look to be pretty evenly matched and game could go either way. Ozen and Barbers Hill are always competitive.

At this point in the season, I'm not that confident in the accuracy of the rankings of Dayton or BH, but hope they both do very well.

This is just my opinion and everybody has one, but I think Nations needs to look long and hard at his staff and determine if any improvements can be made. I have been a fan of the Broncos since 1994 and will continue to be one in the future.

BH 78 - Pearland Dawson 48

I agree with a previous post about the o-line play, it looks like the Broncos are using a different blocking scheme this year and it is not working. We have a good QB in #4, good running backs, and several good receivers, the offense should be rolling. NC saw some areas of weakness on defense and exploited them. Defense looks to be poorly prepared to stop their opponent each week. Good luck to the Broncos the rest of the season.

How long is the starting Qb out for and are they moving up the JV Qb for back-up? I think Dayton will win this one and keep the playoff string going.

Broncos were totally dismantled by a Splendora team that must not have been told they were supposed to lose. Broncos were in total disarray. After the starting Qb for Dayton went out, it was apparent there was a lack of preparation with the backup. It will be an uphill climb for the Broncos from here, lets see if the staff has any answers. Out played and out coached.
