Is it necessary to make fun of a person's or group of peoples' last name? This is a thread about a football game and not to take jabs at the communities involved. Remember that thread?

Great effort from both teams! They should be a force to deal with in their respective districts. Broncos will need to work on pass coverage, holding on to the ball, and pulling the trigger on the downfield passing game. Remember, this is just the first scrimmage of the season and both teams performed very well considering.

A little off subject, but is the clearing at the west end of the stadium going to made into additional parking?

As I stated before, I saw two players turn around to the woman from BH and one say something to her. I could not hear her first reply, but when she realized they were players for the Cleveland team, she said wait a minute, You're a player? You just need to zip It! (sounds like a teacher doesn't it?) The Cleveland coach was unaware of this, it was obvious to me. Yes, Cleveland fans are known for this kind of behaviour, and I have witnessed it in the past. I am sure there a many good people and fans from Cleveland, but the ones who misbehave get the attention. I hope this ends this topic and we all move on.

The BH girls team was very impressive and they have only one Senior on the team if I'm not mistaken. I hear they have a very good 8th grade team as well. Number 11 is only a freshmen and is playing very well! I hope to see them when they meet Dayton in district. It should be a great game. Hastings would have been in trouble in the championship with BH if BH would have hit their free throws and made the layups that were missed.

From my vantage point, which was behind the Cleveland bench, there were inappropriate comments made by several Cleveland fans at which time the police made their presence known. This went on the whole game. One lady in particular was being laughed at because of the ridiculous comments she was making, at which time she threatened the young man saying she was going to hit him in the head. As the tournament trophy was being presented to the BH team, she loudly repeated three times "yeah, but you'll cheated". A lady from BH sad at that time "Give it a rest" and maybe you"ll need to hold your own tournament if your that unhappy. Several Cleveland men then approached the stands and said "You are not going to curse my wife" and two of the Cleveland players turned around and started jawing to the lady from BH. There was not a curse word uttered by anyone! A policeman then stood in the stands between the men from Cleveland and the group of women from BH. Real classy !

Your post makes no sense!

It appears to me, if I'm reading the posts correctly, that it is not the BH people complaining about HJ and Kountze not playing in the BH tournament. HJ and Kountze represented themselves well in the past at BH. It is being insinuated by other posters that they didn't play at BH because of the refs.

Barbers Hill beat Cleveland for the championship. Don't remember the exact score. Cleveland fans were out of hand. Lots of police presence deterred things from getting worse. Cleveland players were even mouthing to BH fans after the game. Poor conduct from Cleveland group.

Congrats to SS players and coaches! Naturally, we are disappointed the Broncos did not win, but what a great season and an awesome effort in the championship game. I wish for continued success to all involved and good luck to those who will be playing on the college level.

Great game Broncos, especially the second half! Is Bronco #2 Terry Asson OK? Only negative was the fan with the amplified megaphone and noise maker.

Your blanket opinion of the Fregias' and Nugents' shows your lack of intelligence and maturity. Do you stereotype all races and ethnicity's also? Remember, a name does not determine the character traits of a person, nor does the race or ethnicity of a person. It is not OK to publicly downgrade people! Most people consider the source of the disparaging remarks and wonder what that person has to hide or why they feel the need to downgrade a person or people. Does it make you feel superior? While many of the comments on this post were inappropriate, your post was totally out of line with the subject being discussed.
