Three things I noticed about Georgia State's roster:

(1) They already have a full roster.  Don't they begin play in 2010 like LU?

(2) Rivals gave all their 2009 recruits 2 stars, one was a 3 star.  That's a lot more than Lamar, but does that really matter?

(3) Their roster is loaded with a lot of freshmen.  Looks like Woodard is bringing in more JUCO players than Ga. State.

Lamar still has another recruiting class to go, so next spring will be a better time to compare rosters.

I agree...I would rather take our lumps the first couples of years with freshmen and other younger players....

Just goes to show that no matter what u do Woodville will get no respect on here. Just have to do it on the court like we've been doing. Just like our youngsters made it to the Dixie League World Series in Mississippi in baseball and no coverage but all over BC. We did not win but we made it in baseball and basketball. All of the nonsense was diminished weeks ago. Just having fun but people are too serious. Whats wrong with being proud? You would too if your team made it and I would not fault you for that. I like all SE Texas teams and like for teams in our area to do well. Like Kirbyville making it to state in football. When I played in Woodville, that was a practice game for us but I am rooting for anyone to represent us. That's all.

  That Dixie League Team was composed of kids from all over Tyler County (Chester, Colmesneil, Woodville and Warren) not just Woodville....

The Warren Lady Warriors won all three of their pool games today in the Grapeland Tourney....Play again Saturday at 2pm...

A new gym will be part of Warren's new high school complex.

How are yall playing the superbowl already?

We lost 2 to 3 games because of the two storms.  Lonestar decided to roll into district play after Hurricane IKE.  Each team ended with 6 to 7 regular season games after deciding not to extend the regular season.  I do not think it made a difference on the playoffs with the two best teams, as far as I am concerned, making the Superbowl, HJ White and Deweyville.

Congrats Lady Warriors and good luck Thursday against Centerville! 

Where is the game and at what time??

alright i know some ppl think warren might actually beat us because yall think we have big heads going into this game, but we kno what happened against 3a hj ..we were beatin them by 30 and u kno what happened..weve practiced hard all week so ..all u wack hatters get yo ticket because we goin in this game to show whos gona play kville...bigg butt dudes lol

Barry, We had hoped to give you guys a good game however it is not looking good for us.  We will be without 4 to 5 of our starters (Tyler County Fair Auction) and most likely without our "fast" back as well.  Take it easy on us.
